The Sennheiser HD580 Impressions Thread
Got lucky and picked up these bad boys (Irish version) for just 40€. The pads need to be replaced (Any recommendations? Was planning on getting the replacement earpads from Thomann), but overall this was better than any Black Friday deal could have been.- thekenta

Sennheiser HD 600 Impressions Thread
After Drop hasn't put out the same good discount for the 6xx as last year, I decided to make my life easier and just purchase a pair of HD600. Any reason why I shouldn't go for the new Romanian versions? I do prefer the look of the matte coating.- thekenta

Thomann is great, go for it. With the Sundaras you'll also feel better with their extended 3-year warranty since many people are complaining about their pads falling apart.- thekenta

He probably means you can order them again. They were available on Amazon Germany a couple of days before release and then delisted completely.- thekenta

Sennheiser HD650 & Massdrop HD6XX Impressions Thread
What do you guys think about some people preferring the new 560s to the 6xx? Did any of you who love the 6xx/650 get the chance to compare them without any bias? The enormous hypetrain makes me a bit suspicious as I'm one of the people who absolutely loathed the 599 (bloated bass, piercing...- thekenta

CHIFI LOVE Thread-A never ending IEM-Heaphones-DAP-Dongles Sound Value Quest
The Chinese IEM bug always bites me around this time a year. Originally wanted to try the BL05s, but couldn't resist jumping on the Tin T2 Plus since I somehow got them for only 35$ on Ali thanks to a coupon. Can't wait to try them out. Only thing I'm worried about are the MMCX connections...- thekenta

The Hi-Fi + Hi-Res Audiophiles' Bluetooth Headphone Adapter Thread - [17.Oct.21] iFi GO Blu impression added
Thanks, guys. Decided on the BTR3K because of size factor, longer battery life and me probably not using the 2.5mm jack.- thekenta

The Hi-Fi + Hi-Res Audiophiles' Bluetooth Headphone Adapter Thread - [17.Oct.21] iFi GO Blu impression added
Can some of you guys perhaps help me out? It has finally come to it: Had to upgrade my phone, of course no headphone jack. Had the BTR5 on my list, but now came across a video on Youtube basically saying it's sounding bad and the UP4 is the superior device. Now I don't know how credible this...- thekenta

JDS Labs ATOM Amp
They even ship from Holland, so McLambo should be happy. haha Alternatively I'll throw in https://www.schiit.co.uk/ since they have it in stock. Gonna go for the Heresy myself since it costs me 30€ less than the Atom. So thanks to everyone in this thread that put the Schiit on my radar.- thekenta

JDS Labs ATOM Amp
I feel you. It's the exact same reason I'm considering the SP200 as well since us Europeans can get it for around 265€ on Amazon. Also keep in mind that JDS charges around 35$ for shipping and it could take forever if the customs get a hold of it. Would maybe be safer to go the EU route in the...- thekenta

Chinese / Asian Brand IEM Info Thread
Funny enough, that was the case. Solved it by covering the vents. The bass extension makes me listen to them at a lower volume and thus the treble at the high end isn't as piercing anymore.- thekenta

Best Smartphone for audiophile Part II (Updated: Jan 2020)
That's just parroting single opinions on the internet which is on the same level as fanboys who blindly overpraise everything. But thanks for the info, guys. Will probably try to get the Vivo Nex, LG V30 or wait for the V40.- thekenta

Best Smartphone for audiophile Part II (Updated: Jan 2020)
It's just that real world usage always differs and I trust the people in here more than some phone reviewers, so I'd love to get some insights from here. Would love to get that phone since the LG V30 and G7 don't have the battery life I'm looking for, but bad sound quality would be a deal breaker.- thekenta

Thanks, just odered the SHE3800 since they could be perfect for my favorite genre (Hip Hop). Have you had a chance to listen to the Qian yet? Also open to try out the PT15 ever since I read this thread. And to think I only had one pair of headphones before I joined this forum.- thekenta

Got introduced back into the world of earbuds thanks to the Monk+. Looking for more earbuds to try that may exceed the sound quality of the Monks. I so far saw that the Qian39 and TY Hi-Z 1.0 are very popular around here. Any other great low budget suggestions since the TY 1.0 are not...- thekenta

Sennheiser HD 598 Impressions Thread
No EQ, listening to everything on Flat in Musicbee. I mainly listen to Hip Hop. Just noticed that the rattling bass is not present in every song, it mainly occurs in songs with heavy sub-bass. I think the impendance spike could be it. When I plug them into my phone, the problem is gone...- thekenta

Listening a little bit louder than normal. Other headphones can take those levels easily, that's why I find it so strange. Also had the 598C here last week to test them out and they didn't have this problem at all.- thekenta
