I never use TIDAL, but can you like download songs for offline mode and play the files with the default player? Unless the offline files hidden or encrypted only for TIDAL offline mode use. Let me know once you tried it.

It's not an issue for me, I just haven't got to try that feature and was curious. Was thinking to swapping my i5 with Opus #1, since mine is returned and now thinking of the possibility of expanding the storage with the i5.

Ah thanks, have been looking thru the pages for something like that. So only a flash drive or card reader if I want to expand the capacity and keep the portability.

Hmm, interesting. Since to be exact, only in Win 10 it's hard to recognize. Win 7 recognize it just fine, but also struggle with maintaining connection as long as it's plugged.

Just to confirm, does anyone else find it hard to get Windows to recognized the i5 with USB mode not MTP? Especially after turning on USB storage (orange android logo). I find it hard and struggling to maintain the connection. It could be seconds to 40 mins (totally random) before it disappear...

@BartSimpson1976 Hey, got to test the BT speaker thing. Weirdly enough, my speaker is not affected by the volume from the player. It's a JBL Micro Wireless, the only BT speaker I have, so can't test it with other speaker. Lowered down to 0 from player doesn't mute the song.

I installed the Chinese 2.0 FW, took a little but effort to download, had to use a download manager (FDM in my case). I realize there's no MTP mode in this one or is it just the chinese version never had this to begin with?

Yeah I got that, those hundreds of reviews describing its sound and comparing it just flew out of the window. Really came down to our own subjective taste.
