Schiit Fire and Save Matches! Bifrost Multibit is Here.
Can't Imagine having to upgrade Bimby Dac anytime soon, the way it sounds now is just great! Having an up gradable board is a nice touch. IF (big if) multibit becomes mainstream, we might have newer dac chips miniturized to fit into bimby chassis. :)- Kcharng

Focal Elear - Impressions Thread
Well you pretty much answered my point and yours at the sametime. Elear is a good headphone, I finds it enjoyable and fun. It reviewed very well by members here as well as else where. It brings unique quality to my musics, being detailed and at the same time dynamic and punchy, which I...- Kcharng

Best unamped headphone at $700ish, Beyerdynamics T5p?
I would jump on massdrop hd6xx pairs with schiit Jotunheim. Slightly over budget I knows but it will be an outstanding value. Sent from my SM-N920C using Tapatalk- Kcharng

Focal Elear - Impressions Thread
Elear recessed mids is really annoying when trying to set the proper volume. More often than not you will end up with higher than usual volume when trying to hear minor details you are used to from other headphones. Sounds of breath intakes, finger rubbing guitar strings or piano pedal press...- Kcharng

Focal Elear and Utopia Review / Preview With Measurements - Head-Fi TV
Having own and tried small group of headphones, senn hd800, alpha dog, beyer t90, akg k7xx, and now elear. Base on my preference, elear is the least comfortable. The clamping force on both side of the ear is definitely tighter than the rest. The weight also create pressure points that make you...- Kcharng

Schiit Jotunheim Review / Preview - Head-Fi TV
This is great. I would give vendor driver a go when I had the chance to see if there are any different. However window default driver installed automatically and worked quite well for me. I checked the driver signature and it was dated June 2016. What is the date of the cmedia driver.? Sent...- Kcharng

Looking for a USB DAC to connect to Schiit Jotunheim
At first going to recommend Bifrost Uber or multibit since they stacked beautifully and added to the bad ass looked which you might appreciate more than the sound upgrade. =) Bifrost or any schiit don't do dsd though. But I will leave you a picture that might persuade you to forgoes dsd...- Kcharng

Schiit Fire and Save Matches! Bifrost Multibit is Here.
Anyone got advice on how to get bit-perfect to work on window 10 through foobar? I tried searching this thread but there was no answer. On schiit web site there are reference to ASIO driver which does not cover window 10 . ASIO4ALL is not native support, so I am reluctant to use it.. ...- Kcharng

Schiit Jotunheim Review / Preview - Head-Fi TV
They both sound pretty much the same to my ear, as with any reasonable quality amp/dac. Main factors are Grace have more features while Jotunheim have more power to drive a wider variety of headphone. Other than that it will be boil down to design and mobility. The convenience...- Kcharng

Schiit Jotunheim Review / Preview - Head-Fi TV
Would those with Jotunheim share their experience with Planar headphones like Mr.Speakers Ethers, Audeze LCD2 or Hifiman HE560? The power delivery of the balance output of the jotunheim would be ideal to drive the planar magnetic headphone. In this thread I read it here and there that it...- Kcharng
