Cayin N5ii Technical Support thread
Hello, just bought a new N5ii and I have the same problem. I tried everything about 10 times- rebooting system, factory reset, cache partition wipe, holding power button for a long time and it still stays in recovery mode. Please help.- lelutas

It must be the greatest IEMs in the whole universe if you can hear David Gilmour plucking BASS strings!!!! (Yes, I know, he played some bass guitar in "Endless River")- lelutas

portable headphone amplifier with balance control OR seperate volume pot for each channel
Hi there, I see that this thread is quite old, but maybe you're still looking for the solution... There are extension cables with individual volume control for each channel. You can use whatever amp and headphone you want with that. No need to buy an expensive amp. Hope this helps.- lelutas

Head-Fi Basshead IEM thread (lists page 1)
Hey there, not trying to keep the impressions to myself, just wanted to ask what anybody wanted to know about the Denons. In general I found them quite warm sounding with a tendency to be harsh with a brighter recordings. The bass is definitely amplified and bleeding in to lower mids. Mids...- lelutas

Best Soundstage in an UNIVERSAL IEM?...
Hi there, I have a IE7 for sale which is barely used. I bought it when it was discontinued but do not listen to them at all. So it has to go. It is an over ear design and you can find a lot of reviews about it. Let me know if you are interested.- lelutas

Cambridge Audio DacMagic XS
Yes, it's hissing even when the music is stopped. I think the reason might be the sensitivity an impedance of my IEMs... If I connect DacMagic to amplifier and then plug the earphones, the hissing is undetectable.- lelutas

Cambridge Audio DacMagic XS
Hello to all, been using my DM XS for a while now and am quite happy about it, but since I got FAD Heaven V IEMs I started to notice a slight hissing even at the lowest volume settings. Actual listening level with the above mentioned IEMs is about 5 clicks from the lowest. The hissing is...- lelutas

Best Soundstage in an UNIVERSAL IEM?...
The thing with FAD IEMs is that they are not about the numbers. I do not know what's the upper limit of the frequency response. For my ears the treble is divine. I'm really sensitive to sibilance and it took me a while to find the earphone which would not be overly bright without loosing any...- lelutas

Best Soundstage in an UNIVERSAL IEM?...
Shame that I didn't stumble upon this thread sooner. Try FAD Heaven V; VI; VII; See if you can beat the soundstage - lelutas

I agree- E12A and Heaven V is a good paring with no hiss. "Silent" DAP or amp is a must with these IEMs. High output impedance also kills them. I also use them with Cambridge DacMagic XS which sounds very good. You can hear some hiss only without the music playing and when you turn the volume...- lelutas

My experience with Comply tips is that they do veil the sound quite a bit. Does it happen when you put them on Heavens? (Currently I have no Complys around to try...)- lelutas

How did the sound change using JVC tips? Yes, the cable is microphonic, but it helps to wear these IEMs around the neck "style" plus the shirt clip. Haven't tried it with different DAPs. When I was looking for the IEMs, one of my goals was to find some with good enough detail but without...- lelutas

Thank you for a such nice and in-depth review! It was very interesting to see some comparisons to FAD V since it's an IEM I consider buying. Now Orion also looks tempting :) How would you compare the treble response of these two IEMs? Which one of these would be more prone to sibilance? When I...- lelutas

Thanks for your advice! Maybe the sibilance or perceived brightness on some recordings was because of the wrong tips. They did not have the original FAD tip selection, only the medium sized ones with wide openings. The seal was good, because the bass response was good, but as you said, the...- lelutas

Hello to all, just got back from a trip, where I had a chance to demo Heaven V-B. I was impressed.
