I find the triple flange sleeves with the white filter gives the best seal and sound quality than olive stock and foam tips.

But when I used it in a milder weather, I still felt a little bit of hot in the jean's pocket.

I wonder if the stack of Mojo and 120II will create overheat if placing in your jacket or pocket. As I noticed when I play DSF or 24/96 while during shoving the snow for an hour,I felt my pocket has a warmer there.

Agreed with you. Whenever your AK gets really warm or even hot after and during charging, its not good. I would rather keep 0.5 amp slow charge even though it takes about 8 hours to fully charge.

As long as your source DAP and or DAC is at least worth as much as SE846. Then you can fully utilize the performance of SE846.

AK120ii with 2.5mm balanced output will lower the impedance to 1 ohm which is perfect match with SE846. I only used balanced output with SE846 except line out to blue tooth speaker,

I concur with you. I like the clarity and high fidelity details of the balance out of AK120II and no harshness, even with 320 MP3. I emphasize on vocals of Pop. It gives me enough warmth and lushness. For 3.5mm single out from AK120II, there's no comparison with 2.5 balance out.

Thanks for your tryout. It seems that you misunderstood my second question, I want to know that the volume adjustment in your M9 can increase/decrease to a very small degree to get a desirable listening level.

I read somewhere that we should recharge the battery from fully discharged once a month to fully charge to prolong the life of the battery.That's why I wait to charge until the battery is fully discharged.

It took me 8.5 hours to fully charge my AK 120II which has 0% battery left from my Bluetooth speaker in slow charge. Is it normal ?

Good that you have no issue with yours. Mine will pause even though the Gapless playback is on.

My AK120II will stop for 15-20 seconds at the end of a song. it happens not too frequently. I didn't care to bother.

As Olddude said, everyone perceived sound differently. No matter if there is a real gain in SQ, I still prefer the DSD files over the Wave flles. This is not an imagination and I am not working for JRiver.

But you can't get same kind of luxury feel, detailed, clear and soundstage of AK.

Thanks for the research. It did confirm my belief that by converting 44.1 CD to DSD, sound quality did improved. But since AK120II weill convert all DSD files to PCM first. The advantage of playing DSD natively has lost Maybe I need to upgrade to 240 or 380.

DSD format will make the music more smoothly even though the material will be the same. I just need someone who has used JRIVER to upsampled to DSD files to prove that I am wrong.

When you convert to DSD files, music play back will be more smooth like analogue sound and not so digitally sound. I did noticed that it also helped those 320 mp3. As long as the sound quality of this converted DSD files not worse than the original Wave files or MP3, I am willing to use this...
