Hi guys..I'm totally new here..just wan to ask for some help for getting a dap..and I love the look and what I've read about the ak120ii but I'm not sure it works well with my shure se846..coz I read something about the ratio of the impedance must be 1 to 8..which the se846 had a output impedance of 9ohm and the ak120ii has a impedance of 2ohm..has anyone of u tried this combination? Is it great?

You can't always go by the "science" of sound.  Sometimes hearing is the way to go.  I had the 846 on a Pono, which has a much higher impedance than the AK, and it sounded great.  For the price, though, you might also consider the JH Angie, which is a hundred bucks more than the 846 and is actually tuned to work with the AKs.  Superb sound, considerably better in my opinion to the 846 (which is a very good iem).

The 2ohm output impedance is with no load. AK does not give us the output impedance with actual load.
 
The AK100ii sounds FANTASTIC with my K3003 which only has a 8ohm input impedance in the bass and rising to 15ohms near the treble area. I've had the K3003 run out of the X5 and DX90 before and they're both way under 1ohm output impedance and what I can tell you is that the K3003 sounds the best out of the AK100ii by far. It sounds amazing in every aspect of sonics. There is no weird frequency response shift, which is what you're worried about with that eight times out impedance rule. The K3003 sounds exactly like it should

AK120ii with 2.5mm balanced output will lower the impedance to 1 ohm which is perfect match with SE846. I only used balanced output with SE846 except line out to blue tooth speaker,
