which of the ibasso daps have replaceable (user) batteries
I have a DX90 and it's battery is replaceable. I think older models like DX90 and DX50 use Samsung s3 battery.- hqssui

Why DAP makers no longer make players with Replaceable Batteries (AA, D, 9V, etc.) in mind ?
Kontinum K100 has a replaceable battery. We have a thread for K100 here https://www.head-fi.org/threads/kontinum-k100-dap-dual-ak4497-with-replaceable-battery.936178/- hqssui

Which DAP has the most output power?
ZIKU HD-X9 might be an option- There is a custom F/w available for this which makes it insanely loud. I dont own a HE-6, so not sure if it can drive that. But with my IEMs, I could not go past volume level 1 as it's too loud.- hqssui

Obscure Chinese DAPs
Penon audio has listed Tempotec V1A. Looks like this version comes with an analog output (3.5mm jack) and is pricier than v1. https://penonaudio.com/tempotec-v1-a.html- hqssui

Acoustic Research AR-M200
Sorry, I will send you the firmware shortly. I don't use Bluetooth so not sure if they have made any improvements on that part. No improvements(performance/usability) on the UI side either. And I feel the Sq remains the same. The major improvement I noticed is that annoying popping noise...- hqssui

Acoustic Research AR-M200
I will try to share my impressions (M200 vs M1s) UI and OS Features - Both have bare-bone OS, but Aune's is faster and better implemented. - Some basic functionalities like long press a button to return back to home screen or navigate to the next/previous page of the track list is not...- hqssui

Obscure Chinese DAPs
My X9 is running on this same version(2018-04-19). I find the signature turned bright as well after the update. Also happy that it brought the volume level down like the original f/w.- hqssui

Obscure Chinese DAPs
If you are mainly listen to IEMs, I would advise to keep the original firmware as it gives an option to fine tune the volume. The other f/w version will be useful to someone who uses headphones which requires more power. Also I find it bit dangerous(with high sensitive IEMs) because the volume...- hqssui

Obscure Chinese DAPs
Congrats on your purchase. I had updated to the V1.101.10 (2017) firmware and the X9 went too loud after that. I could not go past volume level 1 or 2 with my IEMs as it gets too loud. Gladly there is a V1.101.10 (2018) firmware (available on Russian forum) which brought it back to the original...- hqssui
