I have a DX90 and it's battery is replaceable. I think older models like DX90 and DX50 use Samsung s3 battery.

Sorry for the late reply. I have only tried the second opamp which I received from Penon Audio along with the player. I believe, that one is OPA604AP.

ZIKU HD-X9 might be an option- There is a custom F/w available for this which makes it insanely loud. I dont own a HE-6, so not sure if it can drive that. But with my IEMs, I could not go past volume level 1 as it's too loud.

If you are planning to use IEMs mainly with X9, I would advise to stick with the stock f/w.

My X9 is running on this same version(2018-04-19). I find the signature turned bright as well after the update. Also happy that it brought the volume level down like the original f/w.
