    Headphone suggestions? Help I'm stressed.

I'd suggest you get the P7 then. If even that doesn't work out (for long term comfort for example), then my advice still stands: the Denon AH-MM400.

Need help for upgrade from original he-400

Recently I found a great headphone shop near me. I got to listen to various high-end headphones and from my experience, I highly recommend the HiFiMan Ananda for you. It has the openness, it's not too dark, while still having a great extended bass, it has good imaging, speed and separation.

    Sub-$100 DAP w/screen - 150ohms ?

I'm thinking about the Fiio X1 2nd gen, but which headphones do you want to drive with it? 150 ohms is not enough to know whether it will play well at sufficiently high volume.

    First USB DAC/AMP for Laptop

The bass quantity (or any other frequency for tthat matter) is rarely significantly influenced by a well designed headphone DAC/amp. If the integrated DAC/amp from your PC has a high output impedance, the frequency response of the 1MORE Triple Driver Over-Ear could be significantly influenced...

    First USB DAC/AMP for Laptop

The sound of the Fulla 2 is about as good as you will get for $100. The build quality is not like that of Japanese products, but for an American product, I would say it’s good. Certainly Better compared to it’s previous generation. For $50 more, there is not much of an improvement to be had...

Multiple sources -> One Output and One Source -> Multiple Outputs (lossless)

    1) The mixer should work, but the switchers are more simple in their design and unless they are poorly designed and placed near an electromagnetic noise source, the switchers should not add noticeable noise to the signal. 2) You can and that's the simplest way, but there is often a difference...

    20Hz loudspeakers ?

Definitive Technology Mythos ST-L SuperTower is also worth considering. I like their engineering approach and the resulting sound.

Cheap, portable, IEM friendly DAC/amp with volume pot?

As just an amp, I'd say the Fiio A3, but for a DAC/amp combi, You may think of the Fiio Q1. Other Fiio products have volume control, but not as a volume pot.

    First USB DAC/AMP for Laptop

I'd definitely recommend the Schiit Fulla 2 (You pronounce it just like you'd think). Still relatively compact and to a certain extent future proof. Using dac/amp combinations with your iPhone X might be possible, but it doesn't seem very practical to me.

Multiple sources -> One Output and One Source -> Multiple Outputs (lossless)

Hello, Here are a few ways you can accomplish what you ain to do. If you prefer an explanation in Spanish, I can provide that (I can't speak Portuguese yet). 1) The simplest way is if you can get a stereo audio input switcher and connect it to normal headphone amplifiers. Then you can use the...

    Headphone suggestions? Help I'm stressed.

So far, I get the impression you like a warm and somewhat dark sound signature. As I have yet to hear the Meze, I can't recommend them to you yet. Still there is a headphone missing in the recommendations above that should definitely be on your radar: the Denon AH-MM400. It's warmer and more...

The Touhou AND Vocaloid music thread!

Nice! I also got my tickets now for Cologne. Nicely centered, relatively close to the front and elevated, so no one blocks the view. Very much looking forward to it! I couldn't have explained it better

The Touhou AND Vocaloid music thread!

So, the tickets for the concert in Paris are available now, but there are 2 more concerts in Europe, one being in Cologne which is closer to me (the other one is in London), so I'll wait for those tickets to go on sale. It'll probably be on the 15th of this month. Anyone else going to one of...

The Touhou AND Vocaloid music thread!

Nice! Enjoy the concerts you go to. This year, for the first time ever, there will be a pop concert with Hatsune Miku in Europe! In Paris to be precise, at the Japonismes 2018 event. Paris is not too far for me, so I hope I can make it. It would be my first Vocaloid pop concert.

Need help for upgrade from original he-400

The HE-560 has the lightest bass of all the headphones mentioned above. Some call it neutral, but to me it was even a slightly south of neutral. Even so, it was incredibly accurate and the soundstage and imaging were great! The only problem I has with it was the kind of 'plasticky' treble. This...

    Wireless over the ear?

If you want great noise cancelling as well, you might want to get the Sony WH-1000XM2. These have great sound quality, have the best active noise cancelling in the market and are full of useful features. Whether you like it's sound depends mainly on personal taste. Sound perception will always...

What does a DAC do in practice ?

Some lower end DACs have rolloff in the lowest or highest frequencies of the auditory spectrum. Another way DACs can influence the sound is by the amount of total harmonic distortion (TDH) + Noise. The better the DAC, the lower this distortion+noise should be. There are more differences between...

Best aux cable on a budget

V-MODA cables are known for their durability, so I recommend them. Here is a link to one of them under $20: https://www.amazon.com/V-MODA-1-Button-SpeakEasy-Cable-Red/dp/B00MYTRFJE/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1508318598&sr=8-3&keywords=v-moda+cable Sound quality is very unlikely to change, unless...

FS: Sennheiser HD1 Wireless Headphones Ivory

Hello Said M. and welcome to Head-fi. For posts like these you should make a classified at the "For Sale/Trade (and Feedback) Forums". However, I am not sure whether there are other new member restrictions that apply to the classifieds. You can at least try.

Recommendation needed: Light weight full size closed HPs

In my experience, the Shure SRH1540 are very comfortable headphones and they have a similar sound signature to the HD650. They are soft on the treble and warm sounding overall. Also the weight is very good at just 286g. They are also right in the middle of your price range, so I'd recommend...

looking for high end headphones that dont need an amp

IEMs seem to be the best choice in your case. I highly recommend to get IEMs with a removable cable so you can replace the cable if it breaks. It's usually the most vulnerable part of the IEMs (and there are often good aftermarket alternatives). I personally like the Westone W40, but there are...

    HD700s any good for electronica?

Hm... the HE560 fits your description, but the bass is a significant step down in impact compared to the HE400. What you describe sounds like an electrostatic headphone to me, but the new models of Stax are all way above $500 if you include the amplification. I have read good things about...

    HD700s any good for electronica?

The HD700s are very polarizing headphones. The treble unevenness is something that I really don't like personally, but some people really like the tonality. Definitely headphones you need to try before you buy. The HE560 are better headphones in most aspects, except comfort. They are not...
