Review of Audio Technica ATH-CKR9 & ATH-CKR10
Yup I so agree with that, thats why months back when I reviewed the b3s against my ckrs, although ckrs may be technically superior in terms of clarity, details and realism of bass. I didn't say the ckrs were a league above the b3s. Infact I do go back to b3s for classical, instrumentals for that...- SyedZ2ez4

Review of Audio Technica ATH-CKR9 & ATH-CKR10
Great comparison man. Your impressions of 10s vs 9s are exactly the same as mine. I also preferred the 9s because of its clarity and airyness. There was noticely more air in the 9s vs the 10s. However Trance lovers should go for the 10s IMO. I mostly listening to acoustics Yup the ckr9s do...- SyedZ2ez4

Review of Audio Technica ATH-CKR9 & ATH-CKR10
Its has been some time tho since I auditioned the 10s. They are both great phones IMO. I remembered the noticeable difference was more to bass and perhaps more forward vocals. I don't remember which has a wider soundstage, they should be similar as I feel they are very intimate, not as large as...- SyedZ2ez4

Review of Audio Technica ATH-CKR9 & ATH-CKR10
No the ckr10s does not have poor soundstage. They are both very capable in this regard especially in terms of depth and imaging. Some say the ckr10s have a more forward vocal to them. The main reason why I chose 9s over 10s was I felt 9s had better quality bass and fitted more to my preference...- SyedZ2ez4

Review of Audio Technica ATH-CKR9 & ATH-CKR10
Thats exactly what I have been saying about the bass. Its one of the best bass performance I have ever heard to my taste ofcuz. And no not interms of quantity, its the quality that amzes me. Hard to explain unless you hear them before you know, try listening to rude- magic lossless copy, hear...- SyedZ2ez4

I just found out about kakaku and ECjoy site you mentioned and indeed is cheaper there. Do they ship internationally or I need a referer? About msr7, I am aware like you said it has slightly better timbre and vocals. But the bass is a bummer, I'd like to have rumbles to my music lol Anyway I...- SyedZ2ez4

[Review] Audio Technica Ckr-9: Experiencing Sound Reality
Coming from the IM70 to ckr9s is a good upgrade IMO. I have auditioned the IM70 extensively and found it quite impressive myself and a worthy upgrade from the IM50. But Ckr9s are superior to me in sq,soundstage, quality of bass and timbre. Lets see what you think of them when they arrive- SyedZ2ez4

The JVC FX850..Woodie perfection?. (A review)
I have tried all Noble lineup and 1964 ears too, also Limeears LE3 and 2. There was nothing special about the nobles to me. Noble5 or 6 had too thick of a sound and Noble 4 is very tranparent and airy, liked the 4s more than 5 and 6 but then again yes lacking bass weight and texture. And...- SyedZ2ez4

The JVC FX850..Woodie perfection?. (A review)
No I wont go now, probably next month but soon. The fx850 timbres is something to have and considering theses are priced way higher than those shows their confidence in their new product but then again you never know, its going to be a leap of faith ahaha but damn the 850s are good. I think I am...- SyedZ2ez4

[Review] Audio Technica Ckr-9: Experiencing Sound Reality
I am reading comments about ckr9s having artificial timbre? I actually love the timbre of these and rate it highly in this regard. Though I still find the fx850 timbres to be better but these sure arent nearly artificial at all to me but then again maybe I am not hearing it like you guys, still...- SyedZ2ez4

Oh god you are right sir. Its going to cost alot I need to consider that as I need to stick to my budget. U8 aren't for me, I found the V8s to have too much bass for my liking. I like something more transparent and airy. The U5 or U6 would fit my preference better but its still $480. Plus...- SyedZ2ez4
