Stripped a Koss KPH30i to its bare essence, rewired it with a home brew cable and used Yaxi pads. The result is like strapping 2 speakers to your head and in combination with the Tera a lovely warm and lush sound. Love it! 🥰

Yes, various amp’s in the DX320 certainly makes it sound different but I was under the impression that alternatives to the DX320 were also discussed and amongst them the DX240. That triggered me to post my opinion regarding sound sig. with stock amps compaired to the DX320.

Indeed but to my hearing by a small margin.

I own both the DX240 and the DX320 and fully agree with @RIGATIO that (with their stock amps) the sound sig’s are quite similar. The DX240 has slightly more grainy edges to the sound but in my hearing that’s about it.

Would love to try the U12T but first need a DAP that handles them well. Tera won’t since they are all BA and 12,6 Ohm. First things first, try to arrange the DX 320 entirely to my liking.🙂

I’ve tried that but it didn’t work. Will do some more investigation, would be nice to play from all sources on the DX 320 with about the same sound sig. and volume.🙂
