Impact of pending Apple dock change on LODs
Just wanted to get everyone's $0.02 on the impending 30-in to 9-pin dock connector change and its potential impact on the litany of LODs out there. Would an adapter impact the benefit of using an LOD from an iPhone? Curious to hear everyone's thoughts.- BigFNDeal

in ear headphone styles
So here's what I am trying to find - I am looking for decent (not great, but decent) in ear headphones to use at the gym. While my KSC75s are good, they really are too bulky to carry to the gym and wear while I work out. So I am looking for new headphones, but what i want is something that has...- BigFNDeal

x-fi dilemma. seeking advice. please help.
backup everything you can, wipe ur hard drives using dban or some other utility, reinstall OS from scratch and restore all the data u backed up. Whatever you do don't back up any Windows files, just backup data, like music, movies, pictures that sort of thing.- BigFNDeal

I'm not a mod, but before this turns into a war, let's all chill. As I said earlier, there's enough choices in the world of computers for everyone to be individual. Let's ALL show each other EQUAL respect.- BigFNDeal

Well, I know its not a Head-Fi event, but is anyone going to QC? I would like to possibly have a small get together if anyone is going. I am currently using three of the choices above... My Desktop is Vista Ultimate 32bit, my laptop is Windows XP Pro, I have a media server running Windows 2000Pro and an email box (which is really an old Dell c840 laptop in a dock) running Ubuntu 7.04. Headfive- not enough gain?
Well I have the modded X-Fi XM and a newly acquired Headfive and listen to foobar2000. I do have my headfive set to between 1 & 2 o'clock on the volume knob and my X-Fi and foobar at 100% and I am as happy as can be with the hardware, now I just need to get my stinking audio files up to par.- BigFNDeal
