Yes, yes they are!   The cable with the inline remote is the ridiculously expensive one, at almost the price of a new Momentum On-Ear 1.0 on Amazon.

LIttle difference in sound quality IMO. Especially between BT and USB DAC mode. The main difference I noticed with the wired (non-active mode) and BT mode was that the BT mode had a much wider soundstage. Maybe a bit more controlled bass, but as far as I know, not significant of a change.

I'm on iOS still for my portable audio. I've taken a look at Sound Focus but it hasnt been that helpful. Hmm, maybe one day I'll take a shot at that app but I'm not ready to spend three bucks on an app yet!

More power to you guys if it does indeed sound better to you. After all, this is mostly subjective! I might give EQ'ing another chance now, hopefully with a program that lets me choose which frequencies rather than the iOS ones.

Not sure about your first issue, but just turn off the headphones to turn off the noise cancelling.

Use your M2 without the V4A enhancement; without any enhancement at all actually. Make sure your audio is also of good quality/mastering, then report back here. Someone said the Momentum cans sucked compared to some Philips cans (~$80 I believe), but they sampled with Imagine Dragons' Night...

Welp, just snapped one of the gain switches off, praying that it snapped off into the off position at least. Is there a way to fix  the switch? It's annoying how brittle and stiff these switches are...

I was really hoping this was the source of my problems. Turns out that it still turns out static--y. Although, this may also be from the amp idling for a long while before I actually plug in my cans. I'll update and let you guys know.

Um I think they're clean, they're the stock ones. I do of course hear the music but there's static along with it. The time period is roughly maybe three hours.   Is there a way to remedy this?

Just wondering, does anyone else's T1 start to sound worse after a certain time period until it's turned off and then back on? I start to hear static after a while but this is remedied quickly, but it still concerns me

I thought the same but was tempted, so I pulled the trigger almost on impulse. I didn't think I'd be able to notice the difference, so I was wondering if I just wasted money. Now that I have the unit, I can honestly say that there is a difference. Not sure if it's a placebo taking place, but...

Just got my T1, not much to try it with other than Sennheiser Momentum's. It sounded absolutely terrible with the cord with the inline mic, then I remembered some complaints about this cable too, possibly drawing more power than the normal cable. I switched it out and this sounds absolutely amazing!
