does anyone use a case for vision:m
I use a leather flip case for my Vision:M. I actually have two, one is made by Kroo, it's called the Kroo Melrose. It's alright and it serves it's purpose, which for me is to cover the screen and touchstrip. the flip cover can be folded back and pinned to stand the player upright for watching...- Kam3

A case for my ZVM
The BSE is awesome. it is well worth more than Best Skins Ever charges for it. I don't see why the IS from shieldzone is so expensive though, its only a piece of plastic. I had a couple of particles of something (sand?) stuck under the screen layer and i pulled it up after it dried, to clear...- Kam3

Which players support album art....
As you know iPod supports album art. i believe Rockboxed iPods also do. I know Rockboxed H320 supports album art in multiple sizes depending on the wps. The Vision: M supports album art as well. I think the Kenwood player has album art support too.- Kam3

H320, iA X5 or Zen Vision M?
yes the H3xx is probably the most versatile of the list, but it is fairly hard to find a new one anymore, at a decent price (although i do know a site that still sells them). Also the support from iriver is dodgy at best, you would get more help from the good ppl at misticriver, and the various...- Kam3

H320, iA X5 or Zen Vision M?
The H320 has a better screen resolution so images will look better on it, but the X5 has better a better framerate for video (15fps vs. 10fps) so video will play better, closer to fluid motion. However its still abysmal in comparison to the Vision M and iPod 5G, they play video extremely smooth...- Kam3

Great song on a great album. Yoko Kanno really puts together an awesome soundtrack even though the show was mediocre (SAC 1 at least, 2nd Gig is actually pretty cool) i would have it on my Vision M too but something with the Unicode tags wont let me embed the album art.- Kam3

Converting video with the Zen Vision:M
It is very possible, probably one really good pull for the ZV:M, just convert to an average .avi and go. There are several guides out there, but i think the one a Anythingbutipod is the most recent. Here- Kam3

Rockbox for iPod Video Fully Finished??
Dual Booting is one of the plusses of Rockbox, so you can still play your videos on the H3xx, or 5G. at least until the good developers get Rockbox to support video too. Hows the battery life on the 5G with Rockbox? i think they are still trying to figure out the power management patches. i...- Kam3

Cowon iAudio U3 Review - Almost Perfect

samsung Yp-Z5 ipod nano competitor.....
no, not you. he knows who he is. this looks to be a great player, i like the way it looks. what it comes down to is a good 4GB player (finally) that does some things the nano doesn't.- Kam3

iRiver H120 or H320 - need help choosing
I think it was confirmed somewhere that the H1xx and H3xx use the same chipset, and that most of the hardware is identical aside from the obvious (color screen on the H3xx, Optical out on the H1xx). Go with the H1xx if the optical out is what you are looking for, because the line outs are the...- Kam3

background noise with h320!
the only ways i know of is to add more resistance to the wires, by using an inline volume attenuator, or using higher impedance earphones. most DAPs will have an audible hiss when using low impedance IEMs.- Kam3

Creative Vision:M Mini-Review
id say thats pretty clear. the point you were trying to make i mean it seems pretty situational though. does anyone have similar issues viewing it at that approximate angle? the pictures ptaaty posted show the ZV:M at slight more severe viewing angles and yet the car (IS300 with RHs?) is still...- Kam3

Creative Vision:M Mini-Review
would this be a result of the transreflective properties of the ipods screen? such that it can pick up and reflect light back to the eye from a very wide angle? because if the ZV:M has a traditional TFT LCD, which is like my H320, then yes the screen visibility dimishes as the angle is...- Kam3

Purchased Zen Vision: M Yesterday, Returned today.
The thread title is misleading. The problem is user error not the player. i suppose it's still a fault for the player since it's so dependent upon OS parameters. that being Win XP only. it probably still covers a large group of average consumers anyway.- Kam3

gapless player
They are pretty hard to come by, and most ppl that have them, are less than willing to sell, as they are fairly more capable than what is available currently, especially with rockbox. their are some places you can check to have some though. misticaudio the store end of iriver site misticriver...- Kam3
