I'm curious to know, at what kind of volume you listen to the 598CS? On my PC (Realtek chip) I can't raise the volume over 15% or they'll be deafening (bonus, I can 100% the volume and use them as neck speakers). On my phone (OnePlus 3) I can't raise over 50%.

You need to pull a bit hard but gently and they will snap out of the earpieces. Then there are 3 regular screws to remove. Just like on the older model.
