Yes, W3000ANVs and ESW10JPNs have quite a similar tonal balance, so you can enjoy both of them. (If you use the ESW11LTD within a certain time, you'll feel that the ESW10JPN and the W3000ANV are too bright, and vice versa, If you use one of them, ESW11LTD or ES10 will sound too bassy for you.)

A have a question for ATH-ESW10JPN owners. The instruction says that my ATH-ESW10JPN have 42 ohm impedance and 103 dB/mW SPL. Is it ok? The official site says that the impedance is 45 ohm and the SPL is 102 dB/mW.

OMG! I see that you are right! The driver for USB3.0 is broken. My player doesn't work with USB3.0 but it works with USB2.0 o____O (my laptop has both: USB3.0 and USB2.0 receptacles). // OS: Windows 7, 64 bit

I'm not sure if I understand your question, because it sounds a little bit strange for me. This player doesn't have any speakers so it can't play any sounds without headphones. If you want to hear anything, you should plug your headphones into the player.

I have the same problem. Actually my player works fine as a DAC with my gf's laptop and with my work PC, but it doesn't work with my laptop (there is no sound). I have no idea why. In all these cases the operating system thinks that the player is speakers, not the USB-DAC.

He says that the first AK100 has some kind of lack of bass, and the AK100 II has powerful and impressive clear bass. Silent sounds became more audible too.   Don't care about his words if you use dynamic headphones, because in this case you should have the opposite result (bassy sound).

  Yes, the design is cool. But I'm sure that the killer feature is the possibility to choose output impedance between 0, 33, 82 and 120 Ohm that is really awesome and makes this amplifier really universal.

Does anyone know whether the Astell&Kern AK100 MKII supports the English language?
