Hi KC, Thanks for your update. I was also coming from the SE846. It was a very easy-going and easy to like IEM, but in my oppinion, the details were sacrificed. I use the W900 at work, so i don't move it but I would be interesting to try it with a different setup.

The W900 arrived and I love it. It sounds great and looks gorgeous. I need to spend more time with it, but it seems to pair very well with the Mojo.

@MadSounds: Do you have any update on the HE6 / W900 sound? I love my HE6 and I have a W900 on the way. I’m wondering how Chord Mojo would sound with it. Anybody with experience?

Yeah, i was already checking it out a few months back :), just so easy to listen anything with it.

Have you considered to spend your budget on a good IEM? I travel a lot, often with long flights and I went down on the same road. I was only focusing on full size cans, but after a while I ended up with a Mojo and Lear’s LCM-5. Makes life much more enjoyable and easier.

  Don’t sweat it. I just walked in into a small office supply store, I picked a two sided tape and three normal felt with different thickness.   I even tried binding different materials together, but felt did the magic for me.   I gave two weeks to each and I put my favorite at the end.

Man, you are not joking around.   Careful not to blow it. Speaker amps for headphones forum has all the details, but to tell you the truth i just play careful with the volume. Turn it to 0 before turning the amp on/off.

Yup, hardwire these cans is the way to go. I opted for a safer approach for the time being and got a Mogami 2534 straight between the speaker taps and the HE-6 connectors. Love it.
