I own the universal W900 and have also been using them with the Mojo (DAC) and add the iFi xCAN for the improved amping and balanced 2.5mm output.
The combination is outstanding and I thought would be using that setup for many more months... but I recently paired the W900 with both the DX220 and Hiby R6 Pro. Neither of the DAPs are completely burned-in yet but the R6 Pro is by far the better pairing and, to my ears, exceeds the presentation of the Mojo/xCAN. The W900 really shine with both setups whereas my SE846 don't benefit so much.
The W900 are the reason I sold my Utopia for the 2nd time and even like them so much I ordered the ASH. Not exactly a step-up from the W900 but they're a newer model from AAW I just had to own.

Thanks for your update.

I was also coming from the SE846. It was a very easy-going and easy to like IEM, but in my oppinion, the details were sacrificed.
I use the W900 at work, so i don't move it but I would be interesting to try it with a different setup.

Can't find a used one in either 4 or 8.
Will read the specs and try for an alternative.
