Good Headphones
DT 770 seems to meet all your needs. I know they can be had from the $150-$175 range on here, so you could just spend the rest to get an amp. Even a $40 cmoy amp should do the trick.- tripletec

Open/crisp (?) IEMs sub-$120?
Aside from really bass heavy music, I think the HF5 are the best of the best for IEMs in this price range. Highly recommend them.- tripletec

I'll recommend the the Etymotic HF5. They have a great reputation here and I've had great experinces with them as well. Not as bass heavy as the ibeats but much better overall IEMs.- tripletec

Need some IEMs...recommendations?
I agree with the majority here and totally recommend the HF5. Meets all the standards you're looking for, and I actually have fallen asleep with them once. I wouldn't recommend doing it all the time, but I didn't notice until that morning...and they were still in place- tripletec

For Someone Who is About to Buy His First IEMs, OK to Spend Over $100?
If you need apple controls, probably the s4i but your choices are limited. If you don't absolutely need them, I'd go with the Etymotic HF5.- tripletec

Head-Fi Novice searching for IEMs for Classical
The Etymotic HF5 are $95 on Amazon right now. IMO the best, most detailed sound your're going to find in the $100 price range. Great for classical music. Be aware that they block out a ton of noise, and that was a concern of mine when I used these on a busy campus with crossing streets and whatnot.- tripletec

Most Durable/Good IEM for $100 - Klipsch Image S5i Rugged?
I'd recommend the Etymotic HF5. Best sound quality you'll get for the price, they'll stay in your ears for those with active lifestyles, and they scream quality when you take them out of the box.- tripletec

Is Bass the Main Difference Between Ety MC3 and HF3?
Quote: The HF5's are great all around for all types of music. IMO best earbuds in the $100 price range. Bass isn't huge compared to others but your music doesnt sound like it has a ton of bass anyway.- tripletec

Deciding between HF3, UE600vi, S4i, and C560R iPhone headsets
All good choices you have there. You've obviously done your research. Personally, I've always had great experiences with Etymotic, so that would be my top recommendation.- tripletec

Help a Noob pick out a set of IEMs
It looks like you have a pretty tight budget based on your findings so far, and honestly you'll be hard pressed to find anything in that price range that outperform your Bose IEMs. The Denon AH-C360 are a great little IEM for the price, and they have that warm feel that your looking for. I've...- tripletec

I want a pair of good in ear headphones for $100
My top choice is always the Etymotic HF5 for anyone looking in the $100 range. If bass is super important to you though, maybe the Klipsch Image s4 would better suit you. I think they even offer an enhanced bass version.- tripletec

Arghhhh Im frustrated!!!
Both of these are going to be just about maxing out your $300 budget, but both the B&W P5 and the Beyerdynamic DT 1350 are great choices. Top notch sound quality across all genres of music, good styling, portability. Can't go wrong with either one. Like Lizardking1 said, if your looking for full...- tripletec

Any good headphones under $100
The Creative Aurvana Lives are pretty underrated. The Beyerdynamic DT235's and AKG K518's are also solid choices, and I believe their both quite a bit under your $100 budget.- tripletec

Recommend me a pair of headphones for at most $150?
HD-25's would be a decent choice if you have the $$. I've also heard good things about the V-Moda Crossfade M80's, but I've never used them personally. Also, can't go wrong with the AT M50's, but they may be a little bulky to be used for portable use. If you're looking for something Beats-ish...- tripletec

Recommended IEM's for $100 or less?
Another vote for the hf3 or hf5. I own an older pair of er6i's and they seem to fit you criteria too. Etymotic tends to have great noise isolation and stay in the ear well from my experience. Also take a look at the Klipsch Image S4. They've been getting pretty solid reviews as well.- tripletec

Whats so bad about Studio Beats by Dr. Dre?
I agree with the majority here. For the price you could just do so much better in terms of sound quality. They do look damn nice though, and Monster is obviously appealing to the image conscious consumer rather than those looking for quality. If the Beats appeal to you, go for it...I wasn't...- tripletec
