Hello !

I apologize for the brutal question but I am getting a little confused reading all the 3Ds.
Which is in your opinion the best IEM that 100-130$ can buy ?
I am in Europe unfortunately
An extremely clear and clean midband is my top requirement (very good rendition of dialogues/voices )
A too much strong bass on the contrary could be a real problem
Moreover I would be very interested to know how I could filter the lows out

Thank you very much indeed
Kind regards,

gino

Ultimate Ears 700 are a good bet

I love me Etymotic ER-6i if you can still find them. Should be right at $100

The HF5 willbe better value because it's offers very detailed mids(vocals sound amazing on it) and extended clean highs with good bass response.

+1 to the HF5. I just got a pair form Amazon for $95 and I am absolutety amazed at the... well, everything! Classical and acoustic is fabulous, and I am also enjoying Van Halen and Joe Satriani as never before. The HF5 is one fantastic IEM for $95!!

The Sony XBA-1 looks promising. I guess you can't go wrong with the HF5. I wonder which sounds better.

Thank you very much indeed Gentlemen for your kind and valuable advice !

Yes ,,, my very priority is a very clear but not fatiguing rendition of voices
HF5 ... I guess you are talking about these ...

If I am not wrong Etymotic Research is an historical brand. The first to reach audiophile status ....

I will try to trace them here in Europe to save on shipping costs ( I live in Italy)
Thank you very much indeed
Kind regards,

Those are the ER4, and if you're in Italy, you won't get the deal we mentioned for the HF5.

Yes, not being in the U.S. often sucks. Big time.

You are very right.  In Italy in particular the choice is very limited and prices not very good and we often buy from Germany, UK, France ...
It seems that the sellers are not so eager to sell ... quite strange indeed
It is not a very transparent market
Unfortunately buying from USA is not the easiest of the tasks.
Thanks again
Kind regards,

.
italian customs are known for being problematic.  ie they are crap and they steal stuff.  buying from within the EU should alleviate that a bit, UK is likely you best bet.
