The Monoprice MP9927 PG 208.. MP8320 (MEP-933)..The $7.11 club..
Quote: Wear them with the protrusion up, so the strain relief points forward, and that problem area isn't so much of a problem. :> Like this: http://www.head-fi.org/t/580769/the-monoprice-8320-mep-933-the-7-11-club/630#post_7942431 Yes, I know I'm wearing the cable down in that...- Cotelio

The Monoprice MP9927 PG 208.. MP8320 (MEP-933)..The $7.11 club..
Quote: Eh, I have a 3.5mm plug extension cable. They aren't that expensive, maybe I can splice in a potentiometer (after figuring out how to solder the cable, headphone cables are nearly impossible for me @.@) Any reason (besides having to use twice as many) to splice it into the...- Cotelio

Where do you get these 75 ohm adapters you're talking about? I've never seen them. I have to turn my PC volume down to 1-5 out of 100 when I'm using most IEMs to be comfortable with the sound level, and for the MEELec A151 I just got even the lowest setting without being muted is a bit loud for...- Cotelio

Wow... glad I chose the A151 for my free earbud I won from MEELec's facebook. x3 Edit: elaboration; I wanted to try a balanced armature earbud, glad I don't seem to be missing out on that much with my choice. Quote:- Cotelio

Quote: I do. I just popped them in really quick for the photo. >Very easy to flip the cable up over my ear, and because of the extremely flexible, fabric-y cable it stays there, unlike the rubbery cables I've had.- Cotelio

Quote: Heh... that's how I was wearing mine. Didn't think to mention it, thought it was obvious too. @.@ The bit that sticks up kinda... locks? with the cartalige of my ear. I can wear it without locking it in, but it's less secure. Guess I'll take a pic or two. See how that works? Very...- Cotelio

I think I'm some kind of mutant @.@ They sound awesome! It feels like I'm getting a good, comfortable seal with the stock tips they had on, though. The rest of the housing comfortably rests in my ear as well. I'm actually having a harder time getting a seal with the triple & double flanges from...- Cotelio

@ eartips Yeah, I'm looking forward to trying that mod I found, with the foam inside the silicon earbit. Has anyone already done that to say how well it works? @ tangling wires I have two solutions for that, courtesy of Lifehacker...- Cotelio

Quote: I went on an all day googling jaunt after failing to get any replies with my own help-asking thread, the UHP306 are rebranded Metro.fi 2's. As for the J-buds, they're at a pretty much perpetual discount of around that much from "list price", doubt that they've ever been...- Cotelio
