low = HD280PRO med = HD580 high = ?? I think the Portaphile plays very well with Senns, esp. the HD580. Adds some much needed air and open soundstage, as well as clearing up the mids. I have the DT880 and K701s. Works well too, but I just like the HD580/Portaphile synergy better. Have Fun!

I decided to try my MS2s with my LD III tube amp today. Attached the cans to the Grado adaptor, plugged it into the amp, flipped it on, let it detect an impedence of 32ohms, press play.... No right channel. Nada. Turned amp off, removed MS2s, replugged in my DT880s, amp resets for 300ohms...
