NIN 37/38 Ghosts Multitrack
So my limited edition Ghosts package came in and I looked in the multitrack DVD and found that there are 2 bonus tracks: 37 Ghosts and 38 Ghosts. There are a bunch of wav files that are of different instruments and I was wondering, what do I need to do to create a single wav out of it so I can...- damayor521

How many of you rip silent tracks?
Out of curiousity, how many of you also rip the silent tracks off of CDs? I know I've done it with one of Coheed's albums and also with a dead prez album, since it wasn't much. But I'm kinda debating whether I should do it with the NIN "Broken" album since tracks 7-97 are silent.- damayor521

Death Metal Discussion
Sorry for thread jacking, but I was wondering if any of you know how I can obtain the "Ten Masked Men" albums. I know it's not totally Death Metal, but I like the whole Death Metal treatment of pop songs. I've tried contacting them via email from their website and leaving messages on their...- damayor521

Head-Fi Folding@Home: Join the team!
Hello folks. Just wanted to add myself on the list of Head-Fi Folders. I have been folding off and on ever since I got my PS3. I was wondering how many of you are still active and what setups you have. I was thinking in the future, I might get a cheap PS3 and make that a dedicated folder ...- damayor521

Small LCD with HDMI and 1080p capability?
Greetings. I was wondering, are there any < 32" LCDs out there that have HDMI and can do 1080p? The only model I've seen is the 22" Samsung 2280HD. But I've heard that 1080P is sketchy on this model. I was wondering if there are any other TVs out there that can do this.- damayor521

Post the last thing you bought. Oh fun!
Playstation 3 60GB. I actually found a place that still had one new in box collecting dust above the cashier's area along with the 80 and 40GB models. I first saw this guy a few months ago and when I came back and still found it sitting there, I picked it up on the spot!- damayor521

Regional Pizza Styles
It's nice to see the Adams Morgan pizza on there. Slices so huge I had to roll my pizza up like a burrito to eat it. I couldn't even do the New York fold because it was so big.- damayor521

Drobo Storage 'robot'
I've been looking at the Drobo for some time ever since I learned about them from the GeekBrief TV Podcast. I love the idea of popping in drives and having the Drobo handling all the configuration all by itself. The only cons I see is the cost and the lack of firewire/lan ports. They just...- damayor521

I believe that's true, since Vista System Restore does not allow the user to set a determined amount for system restore. Or, I just haven't seen an option where I can manually set the amount.- damayor521

USB-ASIO driver. Anyone using successfully with Foobar?
Works fine for me. I'm using the 2.8.7 usb-asio driver (I purchased it) for Vista. foobar2000 0.9.4.3 > USB-ASIO 2.8.7 > Headroom Total Bithead (previous generation) I haven't tried it yet with my Headroom MicroDAC yet but I'll give it a try once I get home.- damayor521

Security Software for Vista
Thanks for some recommendations. Even though my router is my primary firewall, I like to use a software firewall as another layer of security. Vista's "enhancements" maul your sound!
For me, I get the scratches/crackles when I play music from more than two sources on my computer. (ie: Listening to music on Foobar2000 while listening to audio from websites.) I pretty much solved my issue by just listening to one source at a time. Here's my setup: XP > USB-ASIO > HR...- damayor521
