Wyvern - Mini-Mini interconnect
This is just a short review of a custom made cable I had built from Wyvern Audio the other week. I wanted a cable that would have right angle interconnects, with the shortest and best cable in between. What Alex made was simply amazing. Short enough to connect my iMod to my Hornet w/o any extra...- bender13

Sensaphonic 2xs or UE-10s for iPod use?
well, i bought a pair of Sennsaphonics last year, and love them. in a rash purchasing decision, i decided to buy a pair of UE-10's. All i can say is that i am now using the Sennsaphonics for use at the gym. right out of the iPod (shuffle/nano/4th G (iMod)), the sensaphonics are a bit thin...- bender13

IC: iMod/iPod - 60 GB Photo 4G - ColorMod
I am interested in selling an iMod done by Mr. Rossi serveral months ago on a 60 GB iPod Photo, that has been modified to have a "carbon" paint job by Colorware. It has a blemish on the right side where access to the case was made. Included is a Grey Vaja case, that has been "distressed" by the...- bender13

Any suggestions for getting rid of "the green"?
Thanks for the advice. I figured I'd be stuck with some green cable, but that's ok b/c the sound is just amazing. I just coupled my iPod shuffle with a Xin supermicro amp and my nano with the supermini. Man alive, I'm in bliss. Wow, do these things go well together... And as you can see, I've...- bender13

Any suggestions for getting rid of "the green"?
Howdy, Sorry if this has been posted in another thread... I purchased my Sensaphonics a couple of months ago, and the dreaded green cable has started. I tried to avoid "the green" by buying some desicants and putting them in a Pelikan case when I wasn't using them, but to no avail. I love...- bender13

What's the best portable amp for a pair of Sensaphonics?
Jason, With your extensive and wide-ranging experience, I must thank you very much for taking the time to create a virtual "top-ten" list. I too agree with you that the SR-71 sounds fantastic and should be on the top of the list. If only the Slam were portable... Well, I have just placed an...- bender13

What's the best portable amp for a pair of Sensaphonics?
That's some good advice to wait. Though it's so hard to do so when all the upcoming products seem to have indeterminate launch dates. This is not a prolbem with any of the companies, but rather with me and my impatience. Thanks for all the advice!- bender13

What's the best portable amp for a pair of Sensaphonics?
That's true about the attacking bass with the boost - something I hadn't considered. The Sensas are so efficient anyways, you may be right that there isn't any additional gain with the lower model Xin amplifiers. Guess we'll just have to wait and see for all the new mini-amps coming out...- bender13

What's the best portable amp for a pair of Sensaphonics?
I'm eagerly awaiting the new SM 3 (V), but for portability sake I wonder how the new Super-Micro and Super-Mini will sound. My inexperience with OP amps leaves me uncertain as to their benefits. Though the idea of swapping does seem entertaining. Thanks for the suggestion.- bender13

What's the best portable amp for a pair of Sensaphonics?
Surely this is a topic that may have been discussed before, but what are some opinions on what portable amps work best with the Sensaphonics 2X? I currently have the SR-71, but would like something that is smaller, with better battery life, and great sounding with my new iPod nano. Hell, make it...- bender13

RnB Diamond Reference Interconnect
Well, after a couple of more hours under my belt, I just think it keeps getting better. Just a really nice mellow sound. And I totally agree that the black is just getting blacker. Really impressive. -
RnB Diamond Reference Interconnect
Just got my 12 inch diamond reference mini-to-mini and I am absolutely floored by it! I know I haven't burned it in, but putting it into my system of a SR-71 with Sensaphonics has allowed me to hear things that I never knew existed - right away. Wow! For anyone out there who doubts that cables...- bender13

HeadRoom Micro vs. Total Bithead
Hi, I am currently interested in buying a portable DAC and was wondering if anyone had any information on either of these machines. I currently have a SR-71 paired with a pair of Sensa's, and would really like to recreate something similar. So if anyone has any info, please feel free to show...- bender13

sensa extension
so i got my sensa's the other day, and am blown away. the only problem is that the cord is really, really short. i have been searching for a good cable extension, but everything is way too long. i was wondering if anyone knew where to get a short (maybe two to three feet) extension for...- bender13

Just received my Sensa 2x!!!
Woke up Sunday morning to a knock and there were my Sensa's. Crazy, didn't know that anything was delivered on the weekends. Anyways, the units are absolutely stunning. Even without burn-in, I have been immediately rewarded with a set of headphones that I can imagine living with for a very long...- bender13

Sensa regret?
Just came back from the audiologist and must say that getting the impressions was pretty crazy. Keeping your mouth open and not hearing anything is an odd feeling. Not bad, but not something I really want to do again. Now the waiting begins... I can't wait to put them in for the first time...- bender13

Sensa regret?
After a good night's sleep and after reading the posts from last night, I must say that I'm feeling a lot better about going with the Sensa's. If they can match 650's and even be mentioned with the RS-1's, I can't have made that much of a mistake. In addition to which, anything that sounds...- bender13

Sensa regret?
Just placed an order for the Sensa's after trolling this board for many months. Should I have gone with the UE-10's? After using E-5's for the last year, I figured I should upgrade and went with the Sensa's. I decided to buy the Sensa's because they supposedly have a more organic sound, which I...- bender13
