Hi,
I am currently interested in buying a portable DAC and was wondering if anyone had any information on either of these machines. I currently have a SR-71 paired with a pair of Sensa's, and would really like to recreate something similar. So if anyone has any info, please feel free to show off.

the bithead and the micro don't compete with each other, as the headamp stage of the bithead can't be easily bypassed. the micro is a much better DAC, technically and musically, than what is in the bithead.

I agree...the Micro is vastly superior. That's not intended as a slam on the BitHead BTW...it's a very nice portable source/amp combo imho...

Agree Micro is outstanding. Listening to it now with 650s. Smooth, sweet.
