For me As I Lay Dying sorts into its proper place with the A's Bands with a The sort with the start of the next word The Faint sorts with the F's

"The BONEYARD" overall...pretty cool for a manufactuer to send something out like this!

Another option are the MS-1s at 100$ US I believe they are equivelent to the SR125s I went for the MS-2 because I was facing the same problems Don't regret it one bit.

Wooo....that site is verbose! I've only managed to read the first section. Personally, I don't have a beef with Microsoft, and Windows is an "okay" OS. If you know what your doing, you dont have to deal with viruses and malware, but I find some of the administrative things kind of clunky...

I'm going to agree with you on there really bass-y cans. But I've never heard the originals, so I can't help you out there. But good review!!

I didn't notice it on my sr60s However this was pre-head-fi and I wasn't looking for it. OTOH, my MS2i changed dramatically after it was burnt in. But whatever the case, sr60s are some nice cans

Im currently using a Porta Corda in between my iPod and my MS2i I'm pretty impressed with the sound, but then again I've never heard an amped headphone before. Never the less, You could probally get a used one for just over your budget, as they are pretty devalued because of the group buy.
