Actually, Nemesis has a bit more subbass than Lx which has a bit more midbass

I just demo'd Nio against U12t, Trio, LegendX and my own Nemesis and Vega. I did not like the u12t BA bass. As mentioned before, there isn't any feel to the bass, no physical sensation. Trio, I felt had a bit more bass perhaps but I found the treble not to be my cup of tea as I found it somewhat...

I agree with @olddude. Odin won't be as much of a bass monster as LX, as per my conversation with Jack a few weeks ago. They are aiming for it to be an allrounder. But, knowing EE, it'll probably still pack a punch

I am honestly surprised that they aren't willing to talk about odin at all. It's been months since we started hearing about it, have also seen pics from jack but still no information available for prospective buyers about the features, tuning, price, availability etc. etc. Almost as if they...

Can't say I'm not a little disappointed to see the same old black shell for the odin. I was expecting a different/colorful faceplate for the universal, like the Valkyrie perhaps

Honestly, if it were me, I would definitely return these and get a new pair. These are B-stock category items IMO. Even empire ears B-stock iems have better finish than these. Again though, purely IMO. YMMV

Mine was like that straight out of the box. It wasn't major though ( really tiny imperfection/misalignment), but my OCD kicked in, and I had to get a replacement.

Oh wow, same issue with my pair. There was a visible gap on one side between the seam joining the metal shell and the plastic nozzle

I had to return my pair back and get a replacement too. Even though the material is really good, there are always issue in the manufacturing and the assembly process. Having said that, the QC on CA iems has been really good I believe, my dealer also agrees. Also, I had no issues with my return...
