Neat idea, I'd add a second crank that would open/close some sort of gauze filter structure that would tame the treble according to taste and recording.

I've started placing my headphones slightly in front of my ears so the back of the pads is pressing on my ear. It gives a slight impression of the source being in front and also tames that fatiguing "right next to your ear" mid and treble which I can struggle with.

I'd say Eufonika are generally warmer sounding but that could have partly been a function of the "upgraded" valves I used in my LDs which gave them a very clean clear sound. Overall I found Eufonika more natural and unforced hence my switch away from LD which I was very happy with as a brand...

You haven't got the H9M on there, here's mine. The valves are 2x6N8S and 2x6E5P. I can also confirm that my H10M monos (the actual ones shown in your collage) have 1x6N8S and 2x6N13S per side.

The cable arrived on Friday but I've had a busy weekend, I'm going to try them next week. I've also bought a silver balanced cable for my HD650s (4 pin XLR) to plug into the 2x3 pin to 4 pin XLR adaptor.
