How are the Beats Pro, Detox and Studios?
Quote: Snobbish you say. Clearly the beats were not made for orchestral music. All you really proved was that you don'k like the sound signature. I for example have never been able to like the srh line, absolutely hate the sound, my opinion. Of course they are a marketing ploy, come...- Redtoo

How are the Beats Pro, Detox and Studios?
Quote: But then the hardware is out of date very quickly. I don't buy the life span arguement cause ive had my laptop for 5 years and it was out of date within 2 years. Even Steve Jobs said they succeed because of their software and not hardware. They just like making a ton more off their...- Redtoo

Ultrasone Pro 900 Impressions Thread
Erm, I've been using these as gaming headphones on my xbox360, but I can't obviously use a mic. I tried wearing, both the xbox default headset and pro 900s at the same time. Doesn't work too well. Is there a way I could use a different mic with the headphone and be able to talk and hear what...- Redtoo

How are the Beats Pro, Detox and Studios?
Hey as anyone of tried looking up the resale value of the beats, then looked up the resale value of most headphones on here. Just checking. You guys complain about durability. I had to replace my m-50s 1/8 in adapter after 2 weeks after buying it from a guitar center, Pro 900s driver stopped...- Redtoo

Getting "called-out" for not wearing the Beats
Africa as problems because of africa, i say this cause i lived there for the first 9 years of my life and recently just visited, yes its not fare for most people there. Beats by dre Pro Indepth review
Before the beats came out, no one saw value in expensive headphones. When it did come out people liked it because it had better sound than most people heard, even before the beats so called stole the audiophile hype, blame it on the poor marketing skills of current audiophile companies, i don't...- Redtoo

Beats by dre Pro Indepth review
dude its called post production, its why video games like Call of duty exist. Yes they make money, but if people don't like it they wouldn't buy it. I spent the last like 4 months studying design and contemporary products. Beats is marketed to different people with different tastes, i know a guy...- Redtoo

Getting "called-out" for not wearing the Beats
I just feel like you guys care too much. Out of the 4 people i know i was only able to convince 1 of them to stay away from the beats, even after trying my senns, m-50s, xb500s and pro-900s. Reason why is that it shouldn't matter what headphone you have, it should be about the music and they...- Redtoo

Getting "called-out" for not wearing the Beats
So when they walk into a store with like 50 other headphones that are cheaper, they choose to walk out with them because they are over priced? Many stores have dropped audiophile headphones because it doesn't appeal to the general taste. I personal hate on apple, but i hate to say it they do...- Redtoo

Getting "called-out" for not wearing the Beats
people hate beats cause it as a 100000:1 ratio in sales to audiophile headphones and its only natural for people to hate on things that are popular i.e apple, Obama, consoles the list goes on.- Redtoo

Looking to buy my first set of real headphones: great soundstage for $200-250
My recommendation would be to visit a music/guitar center or headphone store and try out all their headphones, then comeback and ask because many people tend to be biased toward their own personal taste. I learned the hard way. Personally studio monitors would be what you want to check out.- Redtoo

Ultrasone Pro 900 Impressions Thread
Pro 900s dont have subwoofer bass. They dont rattle your ears like say, the beats or hd-25s or headphones with good isolation have. This is definitely where the pro-900s loose. Subwoofer bass sounds uncontrolled and bloated, its why many people love the beats, its why I still think the beats...- Redtoo

will AT-M50 fit my music?
Tell you the truth, their are tons of biased people on this forums. Test them out yourself and see. Personally love my m-50s over many headphones i've owned including my pro-900s im trying to get rid off. I personally don't think the m-50s are over hyped, because I feel like it does many things...- Redtoo

Ultrasone Pro 900 Impressions Thread
I tried the dt990 dont remember how many ohms, i also tried the dt990 pros,250 ohms, I liked them better out of my ipod than i liked them my 900s. I liked both their basses of the dt990s better. I felt like the highs in the pro 900s took away from its bass.- Redtoo

I dont know maybe its me, but I don't hear it, i found the hd 650's, denons, beyerdynamics, k701s and others to be less treble, as far as bass goes its not a rumble kind of bass, the bass seems like its at the back/ far away and not loud and rumble like xb500/beats not saying its a bad thing, i...- Redtoo

Ultrasone Pro 900 Impressions Thread
The only thing i find that stands out for me is soundstage other than that i like my m50s better and after i tried the dt990 pros i liked them better too. Maybye its cause the bass is very tight with these, but 4 of my friends have liked the beats solo rattling bass than the pro 900s bass. I...- Redtoo

Sibilance Ultrasone Pro 900
I just tried the d7000 and yes i like the sound a lot better, because the harshness of the pro900 gets to me compared to them. Amplified the d7000 sound stage sounds better and the bass feels just right.- Redtoo

Audio Technica ATH-M50 vs Denon D2000
I just tried out the d2000, 5000 and 7000 at a bang and olfsen store. Personally I don't see the twice the price value, but yes the d2000 are better if you don't plan on upgrading till the d2000 fall apart, i recommend you get them. If you think you will go higher end latter, just get the m-50s.- Redtoo
