Are there any stores that offer recabling or plug replace/reterminating. I thought of doing it myself but i don't want to risk screwing it all up.

Thanks for the advice. I'm going to put multiple layers of heat shrink on the plug then use a right angle adaptor with extension cable. ill give monster a call and see if heatshrink is ok and will not void the warranty. With the price you pay, you'd expect they would add stress reliefs to the...

I will probably put heatshrink on the connector and get an extension so the plug doesnt get strained. The plug is what worries me, all my past IEM's have shorted out from there.

Thanks for that, i read that monster now has L plugs with strain reliefs on their regular turbines. Wonder if this is true and hopefully amazon is stocking the new ones.
