I'm not going to rant on these like a head-fi newb that I am. instead I'll compliment them because they really look shiny. the chrome makes it look more like jewelry than equipment.    if I didn't know better, i would probably save up for these.

right at this moment, i choose the L3000s simply because of the leather. 

the grado headphone line has a good reputation when it comes to metal so you should consider them.   the only grado that i have is the SR225 and it's serving me well, but people find it's SQ a little too smooth for metal.  since you have the RS1i in your choices, you should give them a try.

My friend had some issues with the SRH750's headband (they snapped at the adjuster). I can say that they do feel kinda flimsy, since they creak.

note to self: get an AMP, some more wooden cans, and a new computer.

hmm...i'm really fond of wood cans, so i pick AT, Grado, Denon, a bit of JVC, Audez'e and a few others.

I remember the time when my classmate tried my SR225 on his phone. he said he liked the beats studios more (because of the obvious reason, which is MOAR BASZS).  

if you would like to stick with grados, you can either try out the SR325 or the SR225. it's just a matter of preference (at least in my case.) if you can withstand the highs of the SR325, go for it. if you're more into mids, go for the SR225.   if you want, you could also try out the...

dude, if you want BASS and you don't have the money for the 750DJ/M50, the K518s would be a good start for you. it doesn't have the tightest low end response, but it's enjoyable as hell (I can attest to that.)  PS: it's a great portable, if you ask me, it's lightweight and tough as a tank.  

maybe i'm just too lazy or i just find the shrill grado treble rather okay to me (?). either way, i don't EQ them whatsoever.

a classmate of mine is wearing his studios today. 

I've been very skeptical about the durability of the beats since i watched a 'certain' youtube vid about them. i guess the only way to fix em is to get a replacement (if it's still within the warranty) ... ... too bad though, since i really like them in terms of comfort 

my very first woodie   now to find a matching amp for this sexy beast... but then again, it sounds great on an Ipod alone... ah well.

hmm... i haven't tried the headsix yet so...     but a D4 sounds good to my ears.
