My role @ work has just changed, and I will be taking flights more often - that is the primary reason I'm after isolation. I hate screaming children on planes, and they are ALWAYS on the plane and ALWAYS near me. When I'm at work I have K701's and when I'm at home I have DT880's, so no problems...

That looks like a cut and paste of the description from another company's website. I've seen an OLD page with that exact wording and photo. Interesting that they replaces all the opamps - I was under the impression that you didn't need to replace them all on the HD2. I could be wrong though.

I don't know if it'll be comparable to a dedicated DAC + amp combo, but when I upgraded from motherboard audio to my Forte the difference was night and day. I was using AKG701 at the time.
