I’m considering running two headphone amps from one source. Is it going to degrade the signal If I split it?

What's a good portable digital audio player these days to look for in the region of £100-200? I will only use it for work and I use the etymotic hf5 for isolation, but may be willing to upgrade these although I still need isolation. Currently using an old Sansa Fuse. Thanks Richie

Just throwing this one out there - is there any need to replace the Little Dot 1+ (which is modified with another opamp & tubes) with anything else for Grados? I own the ps500e and 325i phones and love the combo but am curious if they would benefit from an upgrade.

Is adding the speedball to the Crack really only beneficial when using Sennheiser phones? I ask because i'm using both the HD600 and the dt880 600 ohm phones. I have changed tubes for a nicer pair (to my ears) than the stock ones but I don't seem to get the same level of clarity from the HD600...

As titled I've been reading a bit about the SPL of IEM's and how the movement of air in a sealed ear canal could possibly damage hearing. This has me a little worried about further using mine. As a balanced armature moves a lot less air than a Dynamic driver, would you think that they are safer?

Hi there, I have Ubuntu 10.04 installed with a USB to spdif converter to carry the sound to my AV amp.  I keep getting sound dropouts/interruptions all the time.  This is driving me nuts as I tried to find a solution via Google, but have come up with nothing so far.   Am I missing something...
