Recently got the Triple Fi 10 Pro IEM's which sound great both from my Sansa Fuze mp3 player & a Fiio E10 USB amp, but when plugged into my old Sony MZ-RH1 portable minidisc player or full-size integrated amp, they sound a bit dull!

i know that when I plug a different pair of headphones into any of these sources, they sound great on all of them.

Are the Triple Fi 10 pro's not liking the extra power of these devices the exception being the Fiio E10 amp.

I thought they would have sounded fantastic on the end of the Sony MZ-RH1 as I still enjoy my old minidiscs!

The TF10's pretty picky about sources. Usually, it's something to do with how low impedance it can drive, since the TF10 reaches as high at 64.5 ohms@2kHz if I recall right and as low as 6.5 in the upper treble. The 32 ohm rating is a lie.
