I’m considering running two headphone amps from one source. Is it going to degrade the signal If I split it?

You don't have access to the back of the head amps?
I run a single amp with 2 sources (CD player and computer). The amp has only one set of source plugs. Solution was to unplug one and plug the other in.

Of course I do. I wish to avoid stressing connections by plugging/unplugging…

Do either of your amps have pre-out jacks and a switchable pre-out setting? If so, simplest may be to just daisy-chain them.
