Can anyone tell me who makes the best portable DVD players?

Anyone know who makes the best Portable DVD players? I need some opinions.

I've been listening to some of lou reed's stuff both with the velvet's and solo. My decision to listen to his work is based on reputation only. I've not heard much of his stuff until now. Anyway, I think the velvet underground is ok but I'm not so sure of lou's solo material.

Are the cd carry cases with the vinyl sleeves good for long term storage of cd's or do your dics become damaged over time when using these holders. The ones that I'm refering to are the two and three ring binder type or anything similar.

Is there are correlation between the capacitance in a video cable and it's charateristic impedance(75ohms). In other words, does a video cable have to be in the range of 16-21 pF/ft of capacitance in order to maintain an impendence of 75 ohms?

you don't see as many cd-r decks around. Marantz for example seams to have discontinued all of theirs and brought back a cassette deck. Denon now has only one cd-r model. I'm not sure of Hk or any others.
