What do you think of the bryston 2b? Is it a decent power amp for two channel stereo?

I have 2 3b's and they are the nicest sounding amps I've ever heard. They have a 20 year warranty, and I compared them side by side to equivalent (but more expensive) MacIntosh, Carver and Krell amps, and the potency and soundstage was astonishingly superior.

I have the bp25 pre amp too but without the MC phono section.

It's MC section is a good match for my Micro Benz Glider L2 and the headphone out is decent, too.

How would you say the headphone output compairs to an actual headphone amp? Btw I don't own a headphone amp and I've never used one so far.

OK for low impedance cans, but no where near the power and clarity of my RKV or MOH(R). If you are into headphones, you will not be satisfied until you find your purpose-built headphone amp.
