Microlab, i know the company from its well built solo 7c speakers with the best performance/value i got out of an audio device. 7c's are sold for like half the price of audioengine a5's and still have more detail with a lot more punch on the lower end.    I have not noticed Microlab...

We have a much cheaper solution to get digital out from an ipad which have the ability to get portable with right dac on hand. The device itself is not portable while iDevices are all portable? and this is why iStreamer needs a battery of some sort that could atleast power the dac itself on...

k701 does lows well but not on the wanted volumes, with proper EQ you can get it to a pretty good level

Most expensive whisky i've tasted so far is a simple Jack Daniel's, and no i can't enjoy it. It simply is a tool to get high for me, any suggestions on how to to enjoy it? 

hardware changes are hard at this point i think, but in order to satisfy most software wise, an open source development  kit for additional apps would be really cool. Most suggestions here can be done by any programmer (including myself) easily in minutes if a sort of SDK is available to use
