Regarding the WiFi I experienced the same dropouts, especially when moving my head, or suddenly looking up. At first I thought it was my AK ​that may be wasn't a good match for the MW60, but it also occurred with my iPhone 6.

About ten hours and of course I realise that the cans will improve, but I think I have enough experience with various headphones to know, that the sound character of these M&D will not improve to my taste.

I was very disappointed with the M&D MW60. Design and build quality is top and the way they fit on my head and over my ears, was very comfortable, but I could not get used to the bass heavy sound. Highs and mids is not where these cans are good in IMHO. But.........every one has different...

AK300 will be a hit. This really is value for money and and absolute successor to the AK240. And the player has access to the amp and the new recorder what the AK240 doesn't have. Personally I like the black a lot.

I received the Astell & kern CD Ripper today and as the players it is a stunning looking and well build device. Unfortunately it does not get beyond the point of collecting MTP. There is not much that one can do wrong, when the player has the latest software, so I am puzzled why it does not...

Amazingly loud to me. I run my AK240 usually @ 45 with the AK TP5p headphones. I discovered actually that I listen at much lower volumes with my DAP with good quality files, than in the past with my iPod and lousy MP3 files.

I think many especially older HiFiers have large collections of CD's and why buying,  in my case, I still by CD's now and then, because a FLAC file is not always available. And in my region I cannot by from HDtracks.com

@ ZAROFF Me too, that's why I was surprised there were no reactions yet. All I know is that the AK CD player is connected to the cradle of the AK380 and that no computer is needed. So the 380 will need to contain the software, I assume, but I hope that someone who visited the Munich show...

I can imagine and I am glad that it is just a cable problem, since the 240SS works flawless with the AK 5Tp headphones.

I wonder if this is really a major problem. Since the few guys that have issues with the AK240SS, complain a lot here at the forum (and they're very right to do so), but all the ones that have no issues at all, remain quiet!
