SONY NW-ZX2
Can you make Playlists with the ZX2 if the music source is iTunes and a Macbook? I have the Sony NWZ-17 Walkman and I haven't found a way to make playlists.- jpmac55

Recommend jazz music for novice
Chet Baker is one of my favorites. A big time trumpet & fllugelhorn player. He could sing, too. Chet had a James Dean kind of coolness about him. -

Reply to review by 'jpmac55' on item 'iBasso DX90 Portable Digital Audio Player'
I also own the DX90 and wish I had read yours before purchasing. Seems most everyone only wants to review the sound which overall is positive. The elephant in the room is the UI and not sure why most reviewers ignore it or somehow give it a thumbs up. It's not terrible but rudimentary at best...- jpmac55

iBasso DX90 Tips & Tricks
Greetings- I thought it would useful to have a thread dedicated to the DX90 user interface tips and tricks. One tip I wish for, has anyone figured out how to list artists without all of their songs in tow? Pouring through a few hundred or more songs is okay but tiresome.- jpmac55

I haven't auditioned these but the fairly new Focal Spirit One appears to satisfy much of your criteria.- jpmac55

etys or shures for the gym?
I own the Shure E3's and Sony 71's and agree with lifeinabox comments. The Sony's get a bad rap on this site but have a decent following at ipodlounge. Yes, the Shures sound better but not sure you'd appreciate them in a gym. I think the Sony's are so light and comfortable - easy to place in my...- jpmac55

Van Morrison - anyone see him on current tour?
Touche! Yea, I got healed! For those not familar with Van, it is a song/line in a song of his. Your assessment was pretty close to the Boston show but overall, I was satisfied albeit wished he played all night. No snafu's to speak of. The opening song you referred to is titled "Inarticulate... -

Van Morrison - anyone see him on current tour?
Greetings - has anyone seen Van on his current tour? I am going to the Boston show on Thursday and was wondering what I am in for. This will be a lifetime dream come true as I have collected 23 cd's over the years. Anyway, thanks for taking time to reply. - John -
So what after Kind Of Blue?
I'll second Keith Jarrett - The Koln Concert & John Coltrane's Blue Train. Almost anything by Coltrane is worth adding to your growing collection of jazz. A few others: Chet Baker - In Paris Flim & The BB's - This Is A Recording Houston Person - My Romance Pat Metheny - Secret Story... -

Need good travel buds on a budget
I'll give a plug for the EX71SL's, especially for the money. I don't own the Shure E2's but have read good things about these as well. I went with the Sony's because the price was better and many folks owning both considered it a wash. Fit is pretty easy. Since then, I just upgraded to the...- jpmac55
