I second HD650 + other $$$ equipment to go along with them. HD650 is my heaphone of choice for electronica.

I'm sure you've seen gsferrarri's mini-review. If not it should be of some help. I got a pair of flats couple of days ago for the ps-1s. Definitely less comfortable, but I do like the hefty sound they produce.

Try to audition an amp before you make a commitment. It's likely that adding an amp won't make much perceivable difference unless the amp and the source are really good. A900 sounds full-bodied on its own. You will need so much more gear to make it sound even better.

How long have you had it? Maybe you need more time to adjust to headphone type sound...
