Empire Ears - Discussion & Impressions (Formerly EarWerkz)
Just picked up from my local distributor, stocks just arrived. Posting images of the Satin Gold, do pardon the quality. Looks like the gold of my WM1ZM2 DAP, but colour looks slightly lighter and has a softer feel. It just looks amazing and hope it being matt rather than shiny wont scratch...- xryptic

As the Sony SG warranty (12 months + 3 additional free months) is registered online, you can specify the start date. I normally just use the same day I am registering and it normally just goes through.- xryptic

My spares finally arrived and collected from 313. I never had bad experience so far with Sony SG support before. I had them replace lemons before such as Bravia, PSP and etc. These micro SD trays looks like the weakest link to the otherwise solidly built Walkman.- xryptic

Yes, if debloat affects it to be able to upgrade through OTA later. Since we can restore the apps, it should not be a big issue. Anyway I used your list, seems good no issues on reboot. I kept Google app and also uninstalled "Clock" since I prefer to theme the search bar white as it cannot be...- xryptic

Usually it's just for apps on the Play store that need certified devices such as Netflix. Try to see if you can find Netflix in the store, as these apps may not be searchable. However, you can just sideload the app. I do not think music apps use this check- xryptic

Last time I went I got replacement tips for the IER. They actually have a list of any replacement parts for any Sony product they are supporting. I recall you could also order replacement cables, cases what not that was part of the product. You just have to wait for it to arrive.- xryptic

I just realised the sampler music included with the Walkman titled "Snowflake" has a typo on the Artist's name. Mine shows "Lara Ruggels" when her name is actually "Lara Ruggles"..... Had to immediately rename it.- xryptic
