If u can hear the different btw ur hp and dap, and u dun mind spending much cash, I would say get it to enjoy the music.

No background hiss
No sudden popping sound during start of music playback.
No interference noise using wifi.
It's just play music beautifully ..

I have an Xperia 1 II and I bought both the WM1A (Which I later sold) and a WM1Z. I don't see how buying a phone prevents you from buying a walkman.

But to answer your question, buying this primarily for IEMs is ideal. After all, this gives enough power and does not interrupt your music listening session.

I just bought the brown. I already have the black Midas II and now I'm waiting for the "Walkman" edition ...
I was always late to buy Dignis cases for my previous DAPs and it's nearly impossible to find them when they are sold out on their site, so now buying them as soon as they come out FOMO ?

Very FOMO. I would want it more if it went up in price, or became unavailable. Guess I'm not after the Walkman edition anymore. I'm sure I'll love my green patina Midas II for years to come. And could help with resell (never going to happen). Kinda wish I didn't overpay for the official case already
