QC3 or SE530
Se530 is the answer you will get from basically everyone on this board. Much better SQ, better isolation.- uberstuber

Where to buy Stax in Tokyo?
I have no clue, but as no one has made any suggestions yet, you should look around akihabara (秋葉原). TONS of electronic stuff; I'm almost certain someone there would sell STAX.- uberstuber

A vote for passive noise isolation.
IEMs isolate much better than active noise canceling stuff IMO. And you also don't have to deal with the extra batteries, etc.- uberstuber

klipsch image v q-jays? especially re durability...
I don't know about how comparable the sound quality is but they seem quite durable to me. When Kramer was testing them he said he threw them around in pockets/backpacks etc. with no problems.- uberstuber

sound isolation of q-jays and SE530/420 w/ foamies?
I have se110, which I assume have very similar isolation (considering they use the same tips). They're pretty close, but I think shure tips isolate a little tiny bit more than the q-jays, but the isolation with q-jays is very very good. If I wasn't trying to figure out which one isolated...- uberstuber

Healthy...IEM listening..
As quiet as possible for as short as possible :P As an IEM user, you have the added bonus that everything can be played quieter because of the higher isolation at least. It's probably good to give your ears breaks once in a while.- uberstuber

red q-JAYS pictures 56k beware
I got my q-jays a few days ago and love them. Only problems are awkward cable length, and the case is rubbing off on the cord I thought I would have received the newer version by now but I guess not Any recommendations for another case? I love the one that comes w/ the jays for its size...- uberstuber
