Sound Blaster X1 - Testers invited!
hmm i recently got this device, i have an feeling that... it seems to reduce the upper mid/treble in terms of saturation and width a little bit which reduces some enjoyment coming from my built in dacs,pc,phone. cant really put my finger on it... I feel like I made a downgrade. this is just my...- msz87

Absolute best budget earbuds?
yea unforunately they are not resolving in the bass, it must have some dip after the sub and before the mid bass somewhere because I tried producing with it and it translates very poorly in the low end, clearly missing that frequency. treble is nice and resolving though, love it overall. reminds...- msz87

Absolute best budget earbuds?
blue, I dont think it has a J-cable as it looks normal in the split there. bought from limonade something on ebay. it was not shipped in any bubble wrap or any protection, and took a long time = decent chance of damage in shipping i'd say, just my experience. Im probably going to buy 2 more.- msz87

Absolute best budget earbuds?
what do you have to recommend to me guys? I just got the vidos I paid $3 for. the left side rattles a bit when pushed I think it got damaged in shipping but... I love this headphone minus one flaw, it doesnt go deep enough(low freq extension), im left in the dark and cant use it as main driver...- msz87

Sony budget earphone discussion thread (MH750, MH755, MH1C, EX300, etc)
k I just got the mh755 in, and the hype is real, althought he mids a tad recessed, and the bass is a bit boosted but not overlyflabby. dont bother buying kz junk, just these and a cable. I like my music neutral. I do wish these had a little better mids in the lowermid region but im still happy...- msz87

Review by 'msz87' on item 'KZ ZSN Pro'
The KZ ZSN pro ships in a standard kz box with non serrated tips, but provides a set of small medium large serrated tips, im not exactly sure if they're silicone but some polymer because they reek of something unholy. cable : a bit underwhelming but will do the job, the memory-earpiece plastic...- msz87

Knowledge Zenith (KZ) impressions thread
received my kz zsn pros today. my unprofessional, not super trained thoughts. its just meh. maybe a 2.5/5 beacuse I generally dont enjoy them overall. (but I do appreciate what they're giving people for the money) the good: they get louder than my previous kz units which could be good for...- msz87

CCA in ear monitors Impressions Thread
how about instrument seperation and imaging, soundstage compared to zsn pro? just ordered the pros, should've opted for the ca4's it seems. I prefer balanced/flatness. However, a deeper bass is also good. time to spend some more money.- msz87

Chinese / Asian Brand IEM Info Thread
I like the atr, but they're quite narrow. They sound good out of the box without eq, which is impossible to do with sony's phillips etc that are under 10-15 bucks. They are pretty balanced(the bass is not a mud-fest), tight and punchy, but lack articulation and width/presence especially in the...- msz87

Chinese / Asian Brand IEM Info Thread
I received my first pair of KZ's the atr today, I am somewhat liking them, the problem is they sound like they have a low pass filter above the mids. Checking the response graph there is a dip at around 7k and 9k which I guess is the problem. There is something special to these but they're not...- msz87
