USB Audio Player PRO (UAPP): 24- and 32-bit playback, ubiquitous USB audio support for Android
Hi, the sound skips, or momentarily pauses then resumes of it's own accord. Kinda sounds like a bad Skype session or poor cell reception where you only hear every 3rd or 4th word. I don't think I've ever seen play actually stop and have to hit play for it to resume. It doesn't seem to follow any...- makincheez

USB Audio Player PRO (UAPP): 24- and 32-bit playback, ubiquitous USB audio support for Android
Hi, so with the Pioneer XDP100 has there been a definitive fix for the sound cutting out when the screen is off when running UAPP? I'm only using the headphone port and not the usb output to dac. I've gone as long as 2hrs with it not cutting out and as little as 10 seconds after the screen...- makincheez

Pioneer's first DAP, the XDP-100R announced in IFA
I have used the massdrop RE00s, UE TF10s, and the Ety 4xrs with the Pioneer. I find the player pretty neutral on it's own and I don't use any EQing. Files are all FLAC with a few hi res just to try out. I thought all 3 iems sounded great but have a very strong preference for the Ety's. Clean ...- makincheez

Pioneer's first DAP, the XDP-100R announced in IFA
I removed the bottom bumper on mine; it just fits in the case that came with my etys now. Turned out to be the perfect player for my needs. Like you said; it just works.- makincheez

Pioneer's first DAP, the XDP-100R announced in IFA
This is my only Android device so I've no clue. I'm thinking maybe going down the list, making note of each setting, and change each one by one. Play the same song over in a loop and "rewind " to the same passage as you change them? Alternatively reset them to factory settings (bottom of the...- makincheez

Pioneer's first DAP, the XDP-100R announced in IFA
David, could you have bad setting somewhere? I use the stock player through either ER4XRs or Vmoda 80s and very seldom run the volume at even 100; mostly 75 to 90 depending on what I'm listening to and the environment I'm in. I've never experimented with the 3rd party players. I've been content...- makincheez

Pioneer's first DAP, the XDP-100R announced in IFA
I was lucky enough to find a new white one on Amazon US for $250 about a month and a half ago. Wanted the black one but for that price......I'm glad I found it.- makincheez

If you still love Etymotic ER4, this is the thread for you...
<sigh>......you guys are costing me money........ Have a set of er4xrs coming now. I just picked up a pioneer xdp 100 and been listening to it through either re00s, UE tf10s, or vmoda 80s (vocal). Should be a pretty good upgrade though :smile_phones:- makincheez

Pioneer's first DAP, the XDP-100R announced in IFA
Just received my 100r this afternoon. Battery was completely dead so got it charging and once up to 25% I started setup. Considering the .75gb download it really didn't take too long to update. Installed my memory cards and navigated to a few music files for a quick listen; I think I'm going to...- makincheez

Pioneer's first DAP, the XDP-100R announced in IFA
So in looking around for cases I came across Harrow Audio (I think) which mentioned that the 300r case will fit the 100r if one removes the bottom bumper. I was wondering how the stock 100r case would fit without the bumper since removing it will be the first thing I do tomorrow when it arrives...- makincheez

Pioneer's first DAP, the XDP-100R announced in IFA
Thanks for the replies guys. I had seen on eBay several covers just under $100 but did see a few at around $50 which is what I would call reasonable. I saw one this morning for $1k which gave me a chuckle. Dignis made a leather cover for the dx50 that I paid around $45 for if if memory serves...- makincheez

Pioneer's first DAP, the XDP-100R announced in IFA
Firstly, I want to thank all the early adopters out there that fought through the initial firmwares, seeked and gave others advice, and generally figured out what this device can/can't do. I read through (but didn't study) all 111 pages.....Seeing that it seemed to end up being a stable enough...- makincheez

The iBasso DX50 Thread - Latest firmware: 1.9.5 - June 30, 2016
Why not, how bad could it be? Besides the stock fw I've only used SU 1.3.3 and now True Sound and I'd be happy being stuck with either one of the 2. Especially if it was only for a short while.- makincheez

I'd like to get an opinion from you guys if I could. I have the DX50 and listen to FLAC files almost exclusively; maybe 5% of my files are 320k mp3. Music I listen to is ..... let's say eclectic ; anything from Sarah McLachlan to The Misfits and everything in between. Most of my listening is...- makincheez

Casual Motogp fan here; gradually lost some of the fire when Casey Stoner dropped out of it. Went to all of the races at Laguna Seca until they dropped it out of the series. What are 3 additions to the FW of the DX50 or DX90 that you would like?
1) A track counter, for instance , track 02 of 13 ; whether with an album, folder, or playlist. 2) Display bitrate and format of track playing. Maybe it could alternate or scroll to also display 16 bit, 24 bit, etc as now. I honestly can't think of a 3rd addition. I have the DX50 and the...- makincheez

Official Ipod Video / Classic 5g+5.5g+6g+6.5g+7g SSD Mod thread
If you're just using a CF or SD card to get to your 128gb then no, you don't need the special version. The RB installer that you can dl from the RB site works fine with the gen 5/5.5 ipods and the CF or SD drives. It's when you get into the SSDs or mSATAs that you need more. I loved the UI of...- makincheez
