Does earphone hurt/chafe your ear?
I've been using the triple flanges on my hf2's. on the etymotic website, it suggests getting the tips a little wet before insertion. i am usually out and about, and am not going to dip them in water. do people use saliva? and is that gross?- pearlgirl

Ety's - How far in to insert tips?
I tried the foam tips, and they are much more comforatble. Do different tips create different sound? Which ones are best to get the most bass out of the Ety's?- pearlgirl

Ety's - How far in to insert tips?
They don't hurt to the point where I can't take it, but they also weren't the most comfortable thing in the world. When I am able to get the right fit/isolation, the sound is excellent. So clear. I was able to hear things I never heard before. And once I had the right fit, the bass was fine...- pearlgirl

Ety's - How far in to insert tips?
i'm not sure about the sound because i'm in too much pain to focus on it. i did notice that you really have to insert them all the way to get any low end (no surprise there). i am afraid to put them back in. i hope i can get past the fear so i can hear how they sound.- pearlgirl

Ety's - How far in to insert tips?
So I received my hf2's. How far in are you supposed to insert the tips? I feel like to get a "good seal", you need to stick them in pretty far. And if that's the case, do people find them comfortable? It seems weird to me, and not very comfortable. I feel like I'm about to stab my brain when I...- pearlgirl

Have to buy through Apple Store site - What to Get?
Does anyone think that ZARIM either works for V-Moda, or has some sort of relationship with them? Always promoting the V-Moda's. Zarim, sorry to throw you under the bus, if I'm wrong, it just seems that you are always throwing the V-Moda's out there whenever someone asks for a recommendation...- pearlgirl

Have to buy through Apple Store site - What to Get?
I was a little concerned about the Ety's and my sound preference, but I've been wanting to try the Ety's, I already know that I like the fit of their flanges (I have Ety ear plugs). And did I mention that this "purchase" was free? I figured this was a great opportunity to try them out.- pearlgirl

The iPod Touch is also on the way. I listened to the V-Moda's, and thought they were ok, but I prefer the M9's.- pearlgirl

I decided on the Ety's. I've been wanting to try them out, so this is as good a time as any. I thought I would wait for the release of the mc series to take the plunge since chatter suggested that they might have a little more bass. We shall see.- pearlgirl

I should have specified that I would prefer IEM. If they had the option of the mic, I would get it, but it is not a must, since I have the M9's have a mic.- pearlgirl

Have to buy through Apple Store site - What to Get?
I have to purchase a pair through the Apple Store website (http://store.apple.com/us/browse/hom...co=MTcxNjEzMDU). Based on what they have available under $179, which ones do you recommend? I listen to a broad range of music. I like a warm sound, not too bassy though. I enjoy good detail, but...- pearlgirl

V-Moda Vibe Duo [vs.] NuForce NE-7M
This may be a dumb questions, but... Do earphones adjust the music once it's playing. What I mean is, I was listening to my iPod on Shuffle all songs, and when a new song came on, it didn't sound very good, but seemed to change a few seconds after it began. The sound seemed to adjust. Is this...- pearlgirl

V-Moda Vibe Duo [vs.] NuForce NE-7M
So my birthday came, and I received the V-Moda Vibe Duo's as a present. The person who gave them to me said they were the best "earbuds" sold at Best Buy. Obviously there are a few issues with this. It is my own fault for not being specific enough when people asked what I wanted for my birthday...- pearlgirl

Boostaroo???
Was in Radio Shack yesterday, and asked about boosting volume on an MP3 player, and the guy suggested a "Boostaroo". I searched the forums (quickly), and didn't see any information. Is this a decent option, or is it a piece of junk? I was going to get the FiiO E5, but just want to make the right...- pearlgirl

V-Moda Vibe Duo [vs.] NuForce NE-7M
What about cable noise/microphonics? The Vibes seemed to have almost none, which is important to me (I walk a lot). Another thing I am realizing is the sound I like. I like a full sound, good soundstage, but listen to a lot of guitar focused music, so the middle should not get lost. I think...- pearlgirl
