Radius HP-TWF11r Review and Impressions thread
Quote: Did it myself and it all went quite smoothly, one earpiece had already started to come apart and the other did not need much prompting. Managed to desoldered the old cable and resoldered the new without melting anything and then snapped them back together with a touch of super...- tadad1

Still lovin' 'em and use my DDMs all the time although some time ago I replaced the cable one off a pair of Meelec M6P for the inline remote and mic, it also removed 99% of the DDMs cable microphonics.- tadad1

Rockford Fosgate Punch Plugs vs Monster Turbine Pro.... MORE!
The Punch Plugs are quite ordinary even after burnin and the bass is flabby and poorly defined bleeding heavily into the mids. I found them to be really flat like listening to sound being bounced off a wall and all merging together resulting in poor separation and almost non existent...- tadad1

Radius HP-TWF11r Review and Impressions thread
I did the same thing some months back but wasn't sure if I was actually hearing a little more forward extension in the high end or just imagining it. As a replacement filter I ended up doing what I previously did with my q-jays to replace their person product filters and placed a small piece of...- tadad1

I'm with you, right from the get go for me the DDM's sit and fit was so secure and natural it was like they had been crafted and contoured to every lump, bump, crease and curve of my ear which really surprised me as the fit photos in sigzeos review looked so awkward they had me procrastinating...- tadad1

Radius HP-TWF11r Review and Impressions thread
LOL Seriously? I must have hideously deformed ears. With the Radius inserted I can have the full weight of my touch dangling by the cable and they don't budge or even lose seal, heck in the name of science I even jumped 6-8 inches off the floor with it dangling and the Radius stayed firmly in my...- tadad1

Radius HP-TWF11r Review and Impressions thread
Good observation and I have noticed this as well however I am not convinced that it is related to the port so much as I get the same effect even after having taped off the rear port. I think it is more to do with the angle at which the sound tube is set in relation to the main body of the phone...- tadad1

Wow what a great day I have had. DDMs shipped by AccessoryJacks on the 19th arrived on my doorstep here in New Zealand at 10am this morning (Sat 22nd) . Having followed the thread from its conception there really isn't any new praise I can lavish on these babies that has not already been...- tadad1

[Review] Dual dynamic driver: Radius HP-TWF11R inner earphone - pleasure pleasure little treasure
@yello131 Thank you for the great photo, it seems to fit to the shape of the ear better than I was able to visualize and looks far more comfortable than shigzeos photos led me to believe although that bling dog leg cable connection appears to be more about displaying the brand for all to see...- tadad1

[Review] Dual dynamic driver: Radius HP-TWF11R inner earphone - pleasure pleasure little treasure
So keen to pick these up but am reluctantly holding off for a bit more user feedback. I keep looking at the earpiece design and the fit photos in your review and thinking the cable attachment point in relation to the position and angle of the sound tube for the silicon is so arse-about-face I...- tadad1

tweezers
Clean the tips and the mounting tubes on the earphones with alcohol or methylated spirits to remove any skin oils and you may find they do not slip off as much. Regarding a portable tip remover I have found the small alligator clip easily found in electronics stores work better than tweezers as...- tadad1

Audio Technica CKS70 Appreciation and Impression Thread
I too prefer the Sony hybrids with the CKS70 as well, slightly better fit, comfort and isolation. Straight out of the box I wasn't overly impressed with the CKS70 finding them somewhat flat and lifeless compared to my usual fare of BA IEM's but the first 100 hours or so use made a huge...- tadad1

Whats the best way to prevent scratches on your Ipod Touch
When I first got my 2G touch over 12 months ago I applied a "Best Skin Ever" front and back but after a few weeks it started to pick up dust and lint around the skins edges and before long looked like crap so I removed it completely and bought a Belkin silicon case for the back and went...- tadad1
