Need some help deciding between IEMs ~$200. VSonic GR07 or Westone 2 or something else?
Interested in this thread. I listen to almost the same exact music as you and I bought the re400s. They sound good for 100 bucks but I want something more. I'm coming from 500 dollar full size cans and these sound adequate but not mind blowing.- notoriousmatty

Matrix M-Stage amp review: simple, cheap, and excellent.

AMP/DAC for dt880s & HD800. $1000.
Hi Im looking for an amp to go with my beyerdynamic dt880s 250ohm phones. Id like to get the HD800s in time (6 months or so) but would like to have an amp/dac that also sounds good with the beyers until then. 1000 dollar budget and this is my first amp so I dont know what to really expect. Is there a hi-fi way to connect to a xbox 360 and a ps3 (Im guessing optical would be the best connection) I have beyerdynamic 880s. Ordered some Beyer DT770-80 headphones
I just ordered a pair of dt880s myself and im excited to hear them. Im also puttin money aside for a Woo3 amp. I sold my denon 2000s because they were made by my little sister on her barbie garage tool set. In other words they fell apart. Was he running an amp ?? if so which one?- notoriousmatty

DT-880s a bit too bright; HD-650 or D2000?
I just sold a pair of d2000s to fund my dt880's. I play alot of games and I heard that these phones paired with a darkvoice 336 is a good starter rig. I wanted to get hd650s but everyone comments they lack a soundstage important for games.- notoriousmatty

avoid the denons. you said good build quality and these things are terrible. Mine fell apart after 1 month of babying them. Im looking into some Beyers myself right now...amped though.- notoriousmatty
