Ultimate Ears Triple Fi 10 Thread
Definitely go for it especially for the price. They’re still one of my favorite to reach to when I want a detailed, fun and full sounding IEM.- Voyageur

Discover a new world of sound: Make way for the IE 200
CP100 are the compatible Spinfits. I compared them to the stock tips, and although they do elevate the bass level by a bit, they seem to take away some soundstage and the mids/highs sound more congesteds somehow, however they do fit better and are adjusted quicker in the ear. Came back to stock...- Voyageur

Discover a new world of sound: Make way for the IE 200
Got very pleasantly surprised by the IE200, which I impulsively bought after 7-8 years only using Westone UM PRO 30s and ER4SR daily. Detail retrieval is really good and its got a nice timbre and balance overall. I don’t feel like the bass is lacking punch or anything (stock tips no mod), I...- Voyageur

The red ones were mentioned several times on this forum while being used for older gen ER4 series, incl. ER-4S (user installed). I myself have installed the red ones on my old ER-4P more than 5 years ago, worked fine. Just wondering what change it would bring to the new ER4 series as I haven't...- Voyageur

So I've been searching for posts, but little is coming up. Has anyone tried the Etymotic red filters on the new ER4SR (or XR)? If yes, any thoughts? I have a pair or reds in my drawer currently.- Voyageur

Absolutely. At this price it is a steal, i really like the P series alone, and you only need an adapter to turn it into an S. I’d go for it in a heartbeat. edit: just realized I’m 2 pages late, but whatever.- Voyageur

I've had both the 4SR and 4XR for a bit more than 3y now (and the 4P/S for much longer than that). Much prefer the SR over the XR. Imho the SR just sounds smoother, more natural and coherent, with same detail retrieval and slightly better imaging. The only advantage of the XR is a fuller lower...- Voyageur

Adjusted brightness levels... Definitely looks like some kind of ER-2 connected to what could be a Bluetooth-able cable (?). Would be nice, although I’m no fan of BT on IEMs.- Voyageur

Agreed, haven't been active on this thread for almost 2 years, when the ER4SR/XR were still a novelty, glad it's still going full steam! ER-4 (PT and SR) are still the mainstay of my IEM wardrobe, probably drew away all my interest for other headphones altogether. Totally overwhelmed by the...- Voyageur

More comfortable indeed, the only complaint I have is the quite fragile, and still heavy stock cable. The strain reliefs, apart from the one at the L shaped jack, are nearly non-existent. Had to replace it already due to faulty contact. The original ER-4 cable is quite a bit sturdier in...- Voyageur

Agreed, I own both the XR and SR, and the XR I barely use while the SR gets the most job. The XR bass boost feels a bit odd, almost like it's trying too hard. I still reach out for it from time to time though. Edit: I'm thinking of getting a back-up classic ER4S at the moment, as I feel like...- Voyageur

Westone Star tips are great but not for Ety-style insertion in my experience, no matter which tip length/width I chose (I tried the whole collection as I used to have the UM Pro 30 with all tips included). Same experience with SpinFits, and others. Good, but not for deep insertion. A few pages...- Voyageur
