Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?
Not IEM's, but anyone heard of these? https://humanheadphones.com/ I love the idea of true wireless clip ons, but at that price I wonder if the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless sound better considering that this is a new brand. Still, great to see non-earbuds in the wireless market. I hope...- flamerz

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?
How does the T3 compare to the Sennheisers and Galaxy Buds in terms of detail and separation?- flamerz

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?
How do the Buds compare to other ones you've tried in terms of detail, separation, and range of frequency? I've read some high praise on their sound quality, but it seems like the Samsung name might have encouraged electronics writers who might not have a good ear to write reviews.- flamerz

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?
I did a little research on my own and found this round up of reviews: https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2019/may/01/best-true-wireless-earbuds-airpods-samsung-jabra-sennheiser-anker-compared-and-ranked Seems like the reviewer wasn't impressed by the Tranya T3's sound in comparison to some...- flamerz

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?
Seems like there's a lot of hype on here for the sound quality of the Tranya T3. How does it compare to the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless?- flamerz

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?
So this thread is massive now... I bought the Bragi Headphones in 2017 and they're still doing well. Battery originally lasted about 4-5 hours per charge and probably last 3-4 hours now. The charging case is finicky, but it works well enough and charges in about an hour. I really like the...- flamerz

AirPods
Are there any other decent audio quality Bluetooth earbuds that don't have a seal that blocks out noise, aren't connected together, and have a mic? I haven't found any that aren't connected and aren't IEM's.- flamerz

Review by 'flamerz' on item 'Edifier P185 Headphones Hi-Fi Classic Earbud Style Earphones With Microphone - Grey'
DISCLAIMER After my last pair of earphones broke, I did some research on the forums to find high praise for Edifier, much of which for the 185's. A bit of research showed that the company sought reviews for their products in exchange for said products. So after about a hundred hours of...- flamerz

Earphone And Headphone Review Opportunities For Edifier: Over 10 New Products Coming To The US.
I'd like to review the P185. 1. I am located in Seattle. 2. I haven't been too active here in the past few years, so I don't know how to find my old reviews. I was a regular before the reviews section existed, so they're all within the forums. If you'd like, you could search my 1600+...- flamerz

++ FULL-SIZE HEADPHONE RECOMMENDATIONS THREAD++ CLOSED: Please post a thread in the Introductions, Help and Advice forum
I know the IEM market has greatly increased and there are much better deals now than there were over 5 years ago, and I'm curious as to whether the full sized headphone market is similar. If nothing comes to light, I'll definitely buy another set of DT-770's.- flamerz

++ FULL-SIZE HEADPHONE RECOMMENDATIONS THREAD++ CLOSED: Please post a thread in the Introductions, Help and Advice forum
So I just broke my DT-770 pros worse than they were broken before in my attempt to fix them. It's been a few years since I've kept up with the headphone market. What are the best headphones for detailed bass around $200 or less? Open or closed, I like the pros of each and the cons don't matter...- flamerz

Cable parts questions
Oh, you're right. It says 2549 on the outside of it... Thanks. It's the standard mic cable instead. Do you think that the wires will be larger in the quad mic cable? I had a really difficult time getting my 2:1 1/8" heat shrink tubing onto the section I split in half. I'm thinking of buying some...- flamerz

Cable parts questions
So I bought the Mogami Quad cable as planned, and there are only two wires in the cable... I thought there would be four! Two of the plastic braids don't seem to have any metal cable inside of them. I wanted to follow this recable guide, but now I'm not sure how I should wire this to my...- flamerz

Cable parts questions
Quote: I did that shortly after posting. Such an obvious way to figure this out, don't know why I didn't think of it immediately. It looked like a lot of them used heatshrink, which doesn't seem very stable. Do Y splits generally receive much stress though? Quote: ...- flamerz

Cable parts questions
How can I securely create a Y split in the cable? I've found a cover at Qables (pictured below), but I think there's a much cheaper alternative that works just as well. Any ideas? Also, I'm thinking of buying of this type of cable. Should I buy a 1/4" sleeve for the full cable, and...- flamerz

Cable parts questions
I'm looking to recable my Beyerdynamic DT-770's with a dual entry cable. Unlike the single entry stock cable, I will need to buy a cable with separate ground connections for the left and right drivers. I'm pretty unfamiliar with this type of stuff, and can't identify whether or not a cable has...- flamerz

Left/Right imbalance
First off, yes I have switched sides, I have tried many sources and another person has confirmed my belief. I've searched the topic, and that should cover most of your questions. None of the OP's from the search results had checked as thoroughly as I. I've resoldered a couple times when the...- flamerz

My earphones broke, and now I don't know any current models. Please help me find a new set.
I'm looking to pay around $100, but the price is flexible. I like detailed lows, but other than that I'm open to a variety of sound signatures. A detailed or wide sound stage is a pro, but not a major concern. I'll mostly be using these on plane or bus rides, so comfort is a plus. I prefer stems...- flamerz

Rap songs that use the sound stage
Just stumbled upon Lead The Way by Buff1 and produced by 14KT. I know I've heard some other songs that take advantage of sound placement, but I can't think of anything. Do you know of any others? -
